I chose to work in this industry because Colorado Tree Care Service name like that is because is my father"s name he stared . this bussines 35 years a go and here we are continue do this is what I love to do for leaving Tree Trimming Tree Removal Tree Topping Etc .

This company beat the other estimate out the water! Mario wanted to come within 30 minutes but due to an appointment I had he was here in 15 min for the quote. Awesome customer service! I got a 40 ft tree removed with stump grinding, limbs and debris (that was already there from other trees my husband and I trimmed), and a tree in our front yard trimmed and the canopy raised. The competitor was going to charge me $800 for just the tree removal, no stump grinding and no debris removal. I mean, come on. Using this company is a no brainer. Colorado tree service was prompt, efficient and superb. I will be using them for any future work. I highly recommend!

THEY WORKED QUICKLY AND SAFELY. THEY NEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY TOOK DOWN A 150 YEAR OLD OAK TREE OVER TWO HOUSES, AND HAD NO PROBLEMS DOING IT.

Really nice and friendly group to have my work done Mario came out quick and gave me a great quote on trimming 2 trees The workers were fast and made sure everything was to our liking and cleaned everything up They have a tree shredder with them and all their equipment was in excellent working order and they are insured very well I strongly recommend them them to anyone that needs their trees trimmed or removed

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
