How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because Colorado Tree Care Service name like that is because is my father"s name he stared . this bussines 35 years a go and here we are continue do this is what I love to do for leaving Tree Trimming Tree Removal Tree Topping Etc .

Remove Trees

Project: Remove two trees, trim several trees and blow off roof They were very professional in all respects; scheduling, work performed in a professional manner and clean up. One of the trees was 50' high; close to fence and house. The tree was taken down nothing hit the house or fences. Great job!

They responded quickly, came out the next day to give me an estimate and showed up when they said they would be there to work. We had several large trees removed and others trimmed. The team was amazing. They cleaned up all the debris. The prices were reasonable. They were great people to work with. I will definitely call on them again.

Remove Trees

In my yard they took one tree out roots too, planted new small tree and trimmed my other tree. They came early did a great job and it was perfectly clean when finished. I will recommend to my other neighbors

Trim Trees

They did an awesome job removing a tree, in the process a crepe myrtle was damage and they removed it as well. They have purchased a new crepe myrtle and came and planted the very next day with new soil. I appreciate there kindness and taking responsibility for the crepe myrtle.

They were very prompt. They worked very quickly and even picked up branches from the backyard and the roof that didn t happen when the limb fell on my neighbors car.

These guys did a great job! Took down the tree, ground the stump, ground the roots that protruded above ground, and ripped them out. Also thinned out a separate tree and all at a very reasonable cost. In and out in 2 hours and hassle free to me!

We're committed to maintaining a network of trusted home service businesses, and those who don't meet our criteria will be rejected or promptly removed from our network.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
