The work performed and the speed of the roof install were both beyond my expectations. I started inquiring with roofing companies during an extremely busy time in my area. It was difficult to even get any companies to show up for appointments let alone provide me with quotes. I was looking for a cash quote and found it difficult to get one. The area I live it had experienced a severe hail storm that damaged many roofs in the area and most of the roofing companies were chasing the insurance dollars. My first quote with CBX was targeted at an insurance claim as apposed to a cash quote. I finally connected with Phil Wichman who understood my situation and after looking at the previous quote CBX had provided gave me a cash amount on the spot! I was provided a new quote and signed their contract within about a week of meeting with Phil. My roof was leaking and we were heading into winter. Phil made some temporary repairs to help out as my roof wasn't able to be completed before the winter set in. Thankfully it was a mild winter and I only experienced a small bit of leaking. My roof didn't get on the schedule until Feb 1st. The job had to be delayed a few weeks due to inclement weather and was set to start on Feb 22nd. During this time, I was contacted by CBX to advise me of the delays in a timely manner. There was weather that occurred during the first few weeks of Feb and I thought for sure I would be pushed out more, but on Friday Feb 19th I was contacted to arrange for my roof replacement that would start on Monday Feb 22nd! David Hakes, the project engineer for my roof, called to let me know I was on the schedule for Monday! My tear off was set for Monday afternoon after their crew finished a morning tear off. Well the morning tear off didn't go as smoothly as anticipated and took longer than expected. David let me know that day of the delay and that the crew would be at my job first thing in the morning on Tuesday the 23rd. Just as planned, the crew showed up at 6 am and started my tear off. They were able to perform the tear off, replace a few sheets of wood, and call for an inspection that day! When I got home from work, the first inspection was signed and new roof shingles were already on my roof! On Wednesday the roof was 95% installed. A few of the facia boards had to be replaced and that work was not complete yet. The facia boards were replaced on Thursday. I wanted to paint them before they installed the roof over them but I wouldn't be able to before the weekend. David showed up Friday morning and offered to paint the facia boards for me so the roof could be completed that day! While it wasn't a big paint job I was very appreciative of his offer. I understand they have schedules to keep but in my opinion this was far beyond my expectation. He could have just finished the roof and left me to paint it, but he didn't. Thank you David! The roof was finished on Friday (with painted facia boards) and final inspection was complete by the time I got home from work. I was very very pleased! I highly recommend CBX Roofs if you want a quality job done and above and beyond customer service! Also, my neighbors are all jealous of my beautiful roof :-)

**** I never write reviews, but this company deserves one. Being out of state, having a rental property in Redding California sometimes had its hardships. Finding out that 60+ shingles were improperly installed was not only a shocker, but a huge unforeseen expense. . After many phone calls and Facebook groups, I was referred to CBX Roofing, which turned out to be an absolute blessing. I mainly dealt with David. Not only was I met with reassurance and understanding, but I was comforted with his knowledge and punctuality. My estimate was direct and not over a single penny. Every time I called for an update or was told I would receive a call back (we all have lives), I did. The project was finished even earlier then we originally projected, and my tenets have not had an issue since. I trusted David at CBX Roofing to handle something I could not, and my experience was stress free and hands off. If you are looking for a reputable company, look no farther. 10/10

I live out of town and rent out a home in Redding and needed repairs on my roof. I was nervous to get someone to repair my roof while I am not there. So I came on here and found CBX roofing company! They were amazing, reliable and great at their job. I loved working with David he was always contacting me and updating me with any issues going on with my roof and made my life very easy. He made it very easy and there were no hiccups. They even did it in a timely manner. They cleaned up after wards and left no mess behind. I would recommend this company to any of my friends or family or any business. If I could Iâ d give them a 6 star!

CBX is incredible. I give them my highest recommendation. In a time where good customer service is almost impossible to find, they were phenomenal and I am SO GRATEFUL I had them do our roof. The whole team was great from start to finish. From the beginning, Phil helped me with my insurance company and went to bat for me and won me my roof claim. Great guy. Harrison was the project manager for the work and he was so quick to respond, answered all of my questions every step of the way and made me feel like I was valued, something rare these days. And his crew was AMAZING! I have never seen guys work so hard! They were not only kind and respectful of my wife/kids and our property, but they were SO FAST and did incredible work. I also witnessed Harrison and his crew do my neighbors house and it was the exact same story for them- phenomenal work and so fast. We had another neighbor that went with a different company and his experience was so much worse than ours, we watched the crew take forever and they didnâ  t do the work they promised. Donâ  t make that mistake! I have no reason to say all of this, I donâ  t know anyone at this company personally, I just know how hard it is to find good people these days and Iâ  m telling you if youâ  re looking for a roofing company, you should definitely go with CBX, you wonâ  t regret it!

This company is all about sub-par work and overcharging insurance companies. On the first day on the job, I had to have them leave for drinking on my property and working under the influence. The next day, they said they would be back all day and never showed. Three days later, a new crew showed up and only one spoke English and the others had no California ID or were able to prove that they had green cards. They should up to work multiple time at 7 and 8 at night. It took them 7 day to do remove roof and replace roof. I was told job should take 1 to 2 days. They worked with my insurance company and got paid at time of service $13,852.39. Almost a month later, my insurance company paid them $7,856.42 for supplement and change orders. I had other quotes to do the roof at about $8,000.00 to $11,000.00. This company made off with over $20k from my insurance company and we wonder why insurance companies keep charging us more. Do not use this company.

If I could give CBX Roofs zero stars I would, or negative stars, even better. That would be a rating they deserve. Please do yourself a favor and do not use this company. They are by far the most inept roofing company I have ever dealt with. They tore my roof off, shingles and felt, tarped half of it and....just left. Did not bother to tell me when they were going to come back. Unfortunately, it rained later that day. With only half of my roof tarped, rainwater leaked into my house and garage. They told me they never expected it to rain (it was April, so it is not unheard of) and they stated that the only reason they tarped any of my houses was so they could take pictures for the insurance company. Initially, they agreed to compensate me for the damage that the rain did to my house and garage interior. After weeks of trying to get them to make good on that promise, I got nowhere. Phone calls and voicemails were ignored. Finally, I realized that my only recourse was to take them to small claims court. I won a judgment against CBX but a month later, unsurprisingly, they have not contacted me about it or made payment. I also found out that they never bothered to get the roof permit filed with the county. I paid for the county to come out myself, and they said they could not final the permit because CBX did substandard work. Owners are some brothers with the last name of Romney out of Utah. They are operating in California and appear to be doing so without a proper business license. Please, do yourself a favor and do not use this company. They are liars, do shoddy work, and will think nothing of damaging your property.

Lack of attention to detail. Nails. Wrong plywood used for the eaves. $3,100 to staple plastic on the roof after the tear off.Charged for five vents installed and we only received 4.

It has been decades since I've seen a company and its employees work hard like this one. (CBX roofing) It was apparent from the onset that they are professionals that know there work and they are proud of what they do, another rare quality today. Every step in the process is efficient and quick; not a step is wasted. I feel fortunate that they were able to do my roof so soon after Landon, the salesman, did his evaluation of the damage considering that many homes need new roofs due to hail damage and the rebuilding of Paradise including other fire tragedies in our area. The day after I telephoned CBX Landon came over to my house; He was on the roof as soon as he arrived. His positive attitude and vast knowledge of the trade gave me confidence to continue with this amazing company and I am so happy to have dealt with him, a rare individual. Communication is very important dealing with a business and along with Landon, the office workers and the owners I was not left in the dark about the work; good communication creates a good feeling of security. They also communicated with my insurance company and when the insurance adjuster came over, Landon was there also pointing out all of the damage. I recommend CBX - Thank you.
