Crystal Clear Water & Well Systems

BEWARE!!! I have a long story with these guys and none of it is good. I bought a new system, top of the line and an upgraded service plan/extended warranty for a new construction house in the Acreage/ Loxahatchee. To begin the install, they were late, they did not pull the proper permit, which they charged me for. Once the system was in and the permit taken care of, I thought things were going to be ok. Then I had a problem and things got worse.I had no water which started out on a Saturday. They sent a new guy who wasn't sure of how the system worked. They said it needed a new part which wasn't available till Monday. They didn't show up on Monday until after 5. the part only temporary gave me water but on Tuesday evening it was clear it did not fix the problem and had me call in an emergency electrician. The problem was NOT electric, I had no water. Wednesday they said they would come back out and did not when I called they came by, and again said it was electric, I had the electrician come over while they were here to prove it was not electric, they then added an additional check valve which worked until the system tried to regenerate then NO water. Thursday they said there was nothing else they could do. They left me with no water and no answers. I called another company who came out and looked at the system, said the well top was a bad connection leaking air, the pipe to the pump and to the pressure valve was leaking. They fixed it. No more problem. Crystal Clear should have seen this right away and since they sent an inexperienced guy they left me and my warranty out to dry.

BEWARE of these scammers! I bet all these positive reviews come from their personal friends and acquaintances. Here is our story so far with them: We bought a house in Jupiter Farms and this was the first time we had to deal with a well and whatnot. We called these scammers thinking that they were legit. One of these scammers came to our house, checked out everything ( which he didn't), and discussed a few things with us. The next day his boss (Joshua Stanley) showed up, didn't present himself as the president of this so called company, and started freaking us out about our water situation and how things were really bad. He said we needed a new water system and a new well ASAP. He mentioned he wasn't a salesman like ten times but kept pushing us to buy his new water system that would solve all our problems, including the white residue in our water. Because we have a small child and as naive as we were, we fell for their scam. So we spent $6500 on a new water system and a well. They gave us nothing in writing, and every time we asked for anything in writing they would avoid the topic and change the subject. Fast forward a week and $6500 later, nothing was fixed. We still had the white residue in our water, and the water was still crap. When we call them about it, they said "oh, it's the area you live at, it's just bad water there". We spoke to them about returning the water system since it didn't deliver as promised, and right away we got a call from Mike, promising that he would make everything right for us. He came by, looked at the system and presumably did some tests, and said that the well they dug was bad. He said he would put us on schedule for that ASAP. Two months later, after avoiding numerous calls and text messages from us, they came out, dug a 25 ft well (which is too shallow by the way) and never came back to hook it up. We called and texted them to send us the water test results in writing before they would do anything. Their assistant finally gave in and made up some numbers and sent them to use to put us at ease. We had other companies come out and double check everything they were doing, and they raised some serious concerns about how they do things. Here is where we are with these scammers- ever since they dug up that second well they completely ignored our texts and calls. We have found out that they overcharged us by $1500 for that water system and they had the system programmed in a way that it would consume very little salt per month (no more than one bag) while charging us $ 25/month for premium service. Mind you that I also prepaid $500 in salt before I bought this package crap they pushed us to buy. Obviously our situation with them is far from over. What is troubling and what everyone should know is that the wells they dig are illegal for home use. We called the Palm Beach county Health department and requested a permit for that well they dug for us. They sent us a copy. What we found was sickening: The permits

Install of signature series water softener & sulfur shield completed. Once we gave the go ahead, we were given a quick install date & all was completed as expected. Our industrial area well water was the worst 'ever' and now we can wash the cars with no spots and rinse off with no worries.

Knowledgeable, courteous & fair cost

This has been going on almost a year now. They originally came out and buried the new piping to the city water 2-3" under the ground barely under the grass which is not up to code. The work is still not inspected or permitted which was part of our original agreement. I have tried to call this company at least 50 times to get this completed and Patrick refuses to get Joshua the owner to follow through.
