I hired Bobbie to do some interior work in our home. Painting ,flooring, new woodwork, etc.. He came in May of last year to collect a down pmt of over $4000 and said he would start as soon as he finished the job he was doing. After several months full of excuses and lies, I asked for my money back. He agreed but never paid. I went to small claims court( he didn’t show up) and was awarded judgement in September and he STILL hasn’t paid me back. I would not recommend him at all. I’ve found out he has done this to many others.

I hired Bobby in June to put in a new leach field and I gave them a down payment of $3445.30 and said that he would be back soon to start and that it would only take a day, I have tried calling Bobby and he will not return my phone calls

Hired Dad's in May and said he would start right away. Did not show up to my home for 3 weeks. I had to call Home Advisor to have them reach out to the owner, because he would not return my phone calls, my emails or my texts. He then brought 2 loads of stone out to the house, which sat for 2 more weeks. Then he sent an employee (who just started working for him) to do the work. He has make more of a mess, the grading that was there is now gone and instead of a swell, I now have a 4 foot ditch in my front yard and down my drive. The employee drove over my septic tank & broke the lid, hit my house & cut the electric going to my pool with the machinery he was using. The machinery has been taken back by the rental company (due to nonpayment by Dad's). And I still have not seen the 12 loads of dirt mentioned in the contract we have. Again, won't return my calls, emails or text. I believe we will have to go to court to get our money back. Now I have to hire another contractor to fix the mess.

Seemed like a nice guy and we thought he did the job and it turns out he did not finalize anything with the building department or health department. Now I have to pay an engineer to give me a list of corrections because the building department does not trust his work. I hate posting this but the owner refuses to answer our calls to make it right. The worst part is that he kept information about problems with the foundation from us and took money from us a second time for plumbing. Now the health department is wanting me to redo the plumbing because he did not do the plumbing the way that he described it to the inspector. He withheld information in order to get his money and disappeared. The owner lacks integrity. Something that should of been a positive experience for my family has turned into a nightmare.

They were in and out and very knowledgeable. They are the only ones that would help me over the phone without having to send someone out to see what I was talking about. Everyone else wanted to charge me just to send someone to look at my problem. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Wife was upset the workman had his kids in the van. Work was prompt and professional.

Bobby was very courteous and respectful. He worked quickly and efficiently and charged less than another quote I received for the same job. I feel very satisfied that the sump pump we have now will work for a long time and will keep water out of our basement even during a big rain event.

He rebuilt the wall in front of my house and tuck pointed our chimney, it looks great. He plumbed my house as well and did a great job.

Bob has done a few projects that went well for us and the last project was to install a garage door and it is bent and it's the wrong color and has been paid in full, Bob said he could paint it and we said no, we told Bob we wanted a factory painted door, Bob finally comes out with a door and it was just painted, so we rejected it again, On 11/10/17 Bob said that he would order a new door and said that it would take 1 1/2 weeks and have not heard from him since.

I cannot recommend Dad's services. Despite the glowing reviews we had a somewhat different experience. Yes, he is personable and fast, however, having done several rehabs myself, I found the workmanship a bit lacking. Some things I had to redo; fix a leaking sink, add grout that was missed. I had to invest my time fixing his work. It was not that difficult, it's the principle. We had Dad do three projects for us, so clearly we felt he was good enough to hire twice more after the first. However, the last two projects had minor issues as yet unresolved. Also, on many occasions he was a no-show. Now a simple call or text to say he wasn't coming would have sufficed, so I am at a loss to understand why it was impossible to send a quick note. Ten seconds and done, but no. We were left waiting all day and calls went unanswered (after payment was made in full).

Dad's Plumbing is great. He knows what to do and how. On-time, efficient and personable. Good Hire!

I hired Dad's Home Repair to fix a leak that was coming from our upstairs shower and causing water damage to our kitchen ceiling below. My first impression of Bob was great- He contacted me right away and scheduled time to come out that next week to fix the issue. Bob replaced the shower drain and added some additional chalking which he was confident would fix the issue. At that point I couldn't have had a better experience- he seemed very knowledgeable and had great customer service, and even offered a warranty to guarantee his work. The issues started a few days later when I took a shower in that bathroom for the first time to make sure Bob's work fixed the leak. Unfortunately, when I went downstairs to check the kitchen ceiling, that leak was even worse than before and water was literally dripping through my ceiling. I called Bob and after I explained that he did not fix the issue he said he would call me back in a few day and he would reschedule a time to come back and try a different approach. I waited a week and no call, so I tried to call him back and got his voicemail. I waited another few days and he still didn't return my call. After multiple voicemails left on his phone in an attempt to reschedule a time for him to back out, I decided to just schedule a time online. I used the online scheduling tool and booked time for the next week and had to take off work. I tried to call Bob again to confirm, but still only got his voicemail. The night before my scheduled appointment, he finally called me back. However, he was calling to let me know that he double booked and would have to re-schedule me for 3 weeks out! I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt because he did seem like a great guy during his first visit. Therefore, I agreed and had to reschedule the time I took off from work to accommodate. Three weeks later, the day rolls around that he was supposed to come back out for my appointment. 15 minutes after the time he said he would be there I'm starting to get worried, so I give him a call to check and guess what… no answer! After another hour I called back and left him a voicemail voicing my concerns after being stood up twice and requested an explanation… that was two weeks ago and still have not heard from him. I don't know if he is avoiding me because he doesn't know how to fix the leak problem, or if he just doesn't want to honor his warranty commitment. The least he could do is call to apologize for wasting my time. It has now been 3 months and I still have not been able to get this issue fixed, and there is probably now mold damage too. At this point I have lost faith that he is ever going to return my phone call let alone showing up for an appointment… I just wish I could get my money back for the so-called 'guaranteed warranty' that he seemed to pride himself on.

We have had a lot of bad experiences with other contractors. We weren't trusting any contractor that came in. When Bob first came in to look at the house his people skills and customer service was amazing. He came in on time, and if he was running late he would call. He did an amazing jobs on our bathrooms we are very happy about them. He was very friendly and very professional he literally got done with both of our bathroom in 3 days. The last contractor we had said it would take 2-3 weeks to finish as well as more money. He did it in a timely manner and at half the cost. We have more things we need to do in the house. We will definitely use him again.

Bob really did a great job!! He was professional, on time, and his customer service was great. He does what he says he is going to do and explains why he is doing it. I would not hesitate to use his services again,.

I called on a late night, he came out as soon as he could. Also fixed the issue with my water heater in 45 minutes and gave me tips on keeping my water heater running correctly! He was very kind and helpful!

We have used Dad's at least 3 times. Every time they have been very efficient, knowledgable and courteous. One job that was suppose to take an hour ended up taking three due to the way pipes had been installed previously. They did not charge for the extra time which was on a Friday evening. Will definitely use them again.

Had the best experience ever. Very, professional, personable and down to earth. Replaced a bathroom faucet and new plumbing in our mobile home. Impossible to find someone to work on it, they accepted and did a spectacular job. Thank you

Bobby and Candice became a part of our family. They are very friendly, the listen, they did exactly what we wanted and did not offer just cookie cutter options like other remodels wanted to do. We were walked through the process as it was happening, everything was done on time and post calls were made to ensure we were still happy and things were still well.
