He was to come and take a look and give a quote but when he found the problem he fixed it without giving a quote or asking if we wanted him to do so. I had already scheduled another electrical quote for later that week; which I then had to cancel & explain why I was canceling.

Not Sure exactly what this customer is talking about. went out spent and hour troubleshooting the problem. The customer advised me of what the other electrician looked at I advised the customer what I thought it was from my years of experience and when I traced it out and found the bad (melted) wire on the device I really had NO choice but to fix it I even explained that to the customer that it was very unsafe and would only take a minute to fix. spent well over an hour but charged one hour plus Misc parts there bill was under $100.00 and there house is safe again

After agreeing on a price for the job, the contractor raised his price the very next day citing a rise in the price of copper as his justification. As an investor, I can assure you the price of copper did not increase 50% overnight. The job was not performed as agreed to, and more holes/access panels were put into place than originally agreed to. The wiring was NOT run as originally specified by the contractor, resulting in a less than professional job.

well according to Freidman electric they charged us more for the wire due to a major jump in copper prices which was discussed before any work was preformed as far as the one extra access panel we covered all access panels with a plate which was Explained before any work was preformed and was agreed upon as with all customers and we always ask our customers after the job is done before payment if there happy with the job because if there not we will make it right then and there
