I hired EWBG to add an outdoor circuit and outlet. Guy came to my house early and ready to provide an estimate. After discussing some options as well as possible future work, I was quoted "less than a couple hundred dollars" for the work. When the day to do the work, he suggested moving the outlet closer to where I would be plugging lights in which I thought was a great suggestion. I asked how much the job would cost and was told, "still under a couple hundred bucks" which I thought was awesome. Once he and his electrician returned from getting parts, (the location did change, after all) the work was completed and I was pleased. I received a bill for $360 the next day. When asked about the price increase compared to the quote, I received a very condescending email. When I responded, I was told the increase was due to my moving the location of the box. I can't begin to tell you how frustrating the experience has been. It's too bad that he can't figure out how to talk to customers, the rest of the process was very smooth.
Response by EWBG, Inc.: This poor example of humanity did ask for work & I gave him a rough estimate, not a set price, of roughly $200. He then change the scope of the work twice & I told him that it would cost more now. He still gave the go ahead. The work was done & I billed him $347 & some change. He kept crying that I said $200 & I did but I also said that now it would be more. He just chose to remember what he wanted. I ended up feeling like this quality of person was not worth dealing with. He & people like him are not worth doing good work for. He is NO GOOD. I wish that I could just remove the work & totally be done with this cheat. Guy
