The Eddington Team also installed a french drain that solved drainage issues in the back yard. Very professional and creative team of workers. We appreciated their flexibility to meet our needs.

Service was good in year one (summer 2017) but year two (summer 2018) has me taking my services elsewhere. New billing system is never accurate. Contract is now a flat rate regardless of whether services are provided. Paid for a full month and they only mowed twice. Whoever is riding the mower dug a trench out in our yard. I outsource my yard work because I am too busy/physically unable to do it. Year 1 was a breeze, year 2 has been frustrating and leaves my yard looking poor at best. Cannot recommend.

I really wanted to like this company. The Eddingtons have been very nice when I have interacted with them, but I have not received good quality service. I used Eddington for mowing/maintenance of my yard and spring clean up. Spring clean up was good, but the mowing and maintenance was not great. My brand new fence has damage to the wire from edging and the gate hinge was completely broken. When I informed the company of the damage, Marc was apologetic and stated he would fix it after a month and a half with no repair I had to have a contractor fix it. They never offered to reimburse me for the repair. I still continued to use this company to give them the benefit of the doubt. Mulch would be all over the grass, leaves were not mulched or blown as indicated, and my neighbors commented that they liked my yard BEFORE Eddington started servicing it. I'm still waiting for them to complete Fall clean-up but so far no one has shown up despite promises to be there day after day. You cant get in contact with anyone in the office, so I'm probably going to have to hire someone else. It's a shame that people do business like this, but I've learned my lesson for next year to listen to my neighbors who advised me not to use this company.

Hired to rework swails. They sent people out without proper equipment, a trencher and no way to assure proper slope. After cutting trench I had to stay on them to get proper slope on sides and they still didn't get it right. They then sent me a larger bill because they didn't realize the need to do hand digging. They were unprepared and didn't understand the project specifications. Very dissatisfied with the service.

Review by James O. in Cincinnati, OH
Do not hire this guy he is a fraud and thinks that no one will check his work. The trees/bushes (7 trees/6 bushes) he planted looked odd with mulch piled up very high around the trunk of the trees. When I investigated I discovered that he had planted the tree and piled 3-4 inches of dirt, grass, and mud above the root ball, left the burlap rope ties wrapped tightly around the trunk of the tree, basically chocking the tree from normal growth, and made no attempt to remove the burlap or metal baskets. Additionally they left soil that was remaining from the planting excavations killing grass and leaving my yard almost impossible to cut grass. They use mulch to cover up their mistakes of planting trees and bushes to deep in the ground and tell you they are using amended soils to backfill when it's actually anything they dig up, rocks, mud, grass clumps, etc. I asked for a day notice before the work was to start so I could stake the locations for the plantings, I received an e-mail the morning they were to start and when I asked that they postpone a day he threatened me with a cancelation charge. First thing out of his mouth was to charge me for his inability to communicate. I called him the day I discovered the unprofessional planting methods, I left a message asking him to call me, I had a couple questions he never called me back. This company should be embarrassed to call themselves a Landscaping business. They take zero pride in what they do. DO NOT EVER HIRE ! From Gardenweb.com - Should Burlap and Rope be left on new trees ? A real horticulturist/arborist/Landscape Professional would take all of the cord, plastic string, wire, and at least the top half of the burlap off when planting to ensure the best chance for the tree to survive without future problems. At a minimum have the cord/plastic string around the "neck" removed. The people that planted your trees do not deserve to be called "professional". They certainly don't know how to properly plant trees! Given the mess you are left with, there probably is no perfect solution, but if you remove the ropes and what burlap you can get to without digging up your whole tree.

Great selection of plants. Worked with us to move old plants and incorporate them in our landscaping design. Workers were friendly and did a great job cleaning up.

Did a nice job for a reasonable price. Flexible in adding an additional area to mulch after project was started.

After seeding and strawing 1/3 of the front yard and some bare spots in the rear yard the 2 workers spread straw over most of the front yard and rear grass area. I spent days removing the straw from the good grass areas. The grass in the front did not come in after watering twice daily and having good rains in April. I removed the straw in front after 6 weeks , reseeded and put some of the straw back on. Watering religiously- again.
