My wife Noel was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago. The doctors recommended Chemo Therapy and instructed us on how we were to keep Noel in a clean environment because the Chemo attacks the White Blood Cells in her body. White blood cells are what keeps your body battling viruses and other things that can cause severe sickness. The WBC count is what they monitor. The acceptable levels are supposed to be between 4 and 10 (I forget the units of measure) in order to not pose a danger of getting sick. After her first chemo treatment we foolishly went to the farmers market in Detroit when they had Flower day. Well that was a mistake. Noel got sick right away and went to see the doctor. When they did her WBC count it went down to a very dangerous 0.4. The doctor was very concerned and immediately put her on some prescriptions to help build up Noel's WBC count. She was very concerned about the possibility of Noel getting shingles and other viral born sicknesses with her count so dangerously low.and to help build up her WBC count. I also immediately called Bob Howard at Elite Heating and cooling and told him about our situation. Mark from Elite came out and cleaned all the ducts in our house. Bob came out and installed an ionizer in the ducts to further clean the air. We turned on the fan and kept it running so that the air in the house would circulate all the time. We decided Noel should work from home so she can be in that clean environment all the time. When we went back to the doctor for her weekly check up we were amazed to find Noel's WBC count went to 14 which was over the acceptable level. The doctor was very surprised at this result . I know the prescriptions had something to do with getting her count back up. But even the doctor asked what we had done to get it so high. We told her and she agreed the clean air had to have a lot to do with her unusual recovery. Thanks to Bob, Mark, and the rest of the crew at Elite. I don't think it is a stretch at all to think that you may have saved Noel a great deal of sickness and maybe even worse. Thanks Elite is all I can say!
