This person did not find the problem and told me that I needed to change an electric control panel. After he changed it, the problem persisted. He took his check and was gone. I spent a lot of money and have no solution.

Bill will not return my calls and Ive tried leaving multiple messages and called many times. The first visit cost me $100 and under 5 minutes of work. He promised to come back because the wall switch was blown out and I had to order a new one before he said he could fixed. He came back but nothing was fixed and he left abruptly in a hurry. I had requested 3 items to be done. When I called to ask what was going on, he wouldnt pick up nor return my calls. Its been over a week and hes still unreachable which has left me feeling very frustrated and not sure what I paid for except a house call but the work is not done.

Bill and Ron with the Fairfax Electric Company were extremely professional. They did an outstanding job on a pretty complex panel upgrade. I am not one to write reviews, good or bad, but I feel inclined to tell folks just what a great experience I had with FEC. I will absolutely hire them again.

Review by Carol H. in Arlington, VA
I really want to chalk up my bad experience with Bill Moore and his team to a bad day, a really bad day. However, some weeks later, I feel compelled to inform others of things to ask about and watch for if you choose to employ Fairfax Electric Company. Lesson 1: From my experience, non-standard jobs are not a good fit for Fairfax Electric. Lesson 2: Ensure they have all necessary permits and inspections. If grounding rods or work that requires digging, make sure Miss Utility in Virginia has inspected. Lesson 3: Make sure any replacement parts are onsite before they start work. Lesson 4: Stay close, watch every move, be part of every decision. And final notes: The Fairfax Electric team was not respectful to my home, and at times, to me. In the end, I do not think Bill did the right by me financially, but must say I agreed only to end the nightmare.
