Project: Install a Pre-Fabricated Fireplace Unit (Non-Gas)
The crew was awesome to work with. They showed up on tilme each day, cleaned up after they were done. The insert and tile wall look great! Lynn (the scheduler) was great to work with, she walked us through the details of the job prior to starting and stayed in contact throughout the process. TOP NOTCH!

Laughing at the other reviews. Yes, it took us a year to get the fireplace installed. Now my mantle cracked and it appears it will be another year of waiting for replacement. Very, very, poor customer service. I could cry that i trusted this company. After we signed the contract, a few months later a friend said he had called them but didn't hire them because something seemed off. This was not a cheap endeavor and something I wanted for a long time so you can imagine my disappointment. I was also promised a rebate maybe another year? I guess I will put my faith in karma.

The final product looks fantastic (which I will get back to) but the customer service and bed-side manner of the company was terrible. The project was supposed to take 8-10 weeks (so I assumed it would take 12 weeks.) IT TOOK 1/2 A YEAR (a full 6 months) to be completed. There were always excuses, and "it's not our fault". The blame was always with their distributors, factory, etc. Also, once the install was finished, the salesmen charged my credit card, but NEVER called to see if I was happy with the final product... Which I am not. Again, the fireplace looks great, but the installers didn't measure the TV properly (which the rack had already been installed and could not be moved) before the mantle was put in. Now I have a useless mantle and need to buy a new TV that will give me more mantle room. The Mantle only had to be installed 2" lower and there would be no problem, but it wasn't and now I'm stuck with what I have - or buy a new TV. Also, we had a custom "distressed look" mantle made, and there is grout from the install in the "nooks and crannies" of the mantle that won't come out. Very frustrated and disappointed with this company.

Project: Install a Pre-Fabricated Fireplace Unit (Non-Gas)
The salesman was great. Communication a bit delayed at times. You, the customer, really need to be the 'project manager' in your project. The issue is with the installers. They did not test the fireplace to ensure venting works. The seal around the brick interior is inferior. The original grouting was chipped away at and not replaced, but instead used a black sealant to fill in spaces. My brick is a light beige-soapstone color.

Project: Install a Pre-Fabricated Fireplace Unit (Gas)
When we went to their shop to order the fireplace, we were told it would be installed in two weeks. Because of their scheduling and the town's permit process, it was installed in three months. The fireplace looks great and works very well. Verify with your town how long the permit process takes before ordering so you can have a general idea of how long it will be before the fireplace is actually installed.
Response by Fireside Pros: We appreciate our client taking the time to review our product and service. This client required a new gas line be installed before we could install the new gas logs. This process added time to the job, but in the end everything went well and the new logs performed properly.

i had a gas fired stove installed. they removed the wood burning stove and gave me suggestions which were very helpful
