They did a thorough job on all our windows and doors, one working inside and one out. Surprisingly it only took them about two hours to do the job. We will definitely call them again.

These guys showed up broke a window left the job 5 hours later not finished. Left all my screens and storms all around my house. Came back 9 days later and still couldn't complete the job. The boss Drew was of NO help. I would not recommend this company to anyone. For the record they made me late for work both times.
Response by Fish Window Cleaning: The Technicians arrived at the customers home they were greeted with the comment from the customer --my landlord advised me not to clean the windows because they were old and fragile, but I wanted to have them done anyway-- The windows were old and very difficult to handle presenting a challenge, but we have worked on this type of window in the past, so we proceeded. Sometimes these windows will go smoothly and other times it may take longer (not everyone can afford to have updated replacement windows). We cleaned all the windows and proceeded to reinstall the storm windows and found there was some difficulty putting them back into place. During the cleaning our crew accidentally broke a removable storm window, which occasionally happens with older fragile windows. As is customary, we take the window to a glass company and have it repaired at our expense. Because the storm window needed to be fixed anyway, the customer requested that the technicians leave and come back to finish when the window is repaired. Before the Technicians left, they organized the storm windows and screens and left them neatly next to the couch as the customer directed, so they would not be left all over the house. She also informed the Technicians that she was withholding payment for the work that had been done until they returned with the repaired window and to reinstall the few storm windows that were left. When the repair of the window was completed, we called and made the necessary arrangements to return to the home bringing the repaired window and to finish completing the work. The windows are cleaned, the storm window is repaired, and the job completed. This was certainly an inconvenience for the customer but when working with older, fragile windows, there are times that a window will inadvertently break during the job and we repair at our expense and delays waiting for the window repair, but that is part of doing business. We did everything we needed to uphold our end of this job agreement through Home Advisor. We completed our obligation to clean the windows including repairing the storm

The estimator and owner were reluctant to give me the formula for how they determined the price for washing windows because of, as the owner stated, *the competition*. The price was inaccurate, which the owner eventually adjusted, but only after discourteous haggling from the estimator and then the owner. The company truck broke down, so the crew arrived without ladders and distilled water tanks. Therefore, several windows were streaky and/or not done. Screens were left reinstalled with only one side of the hooks in place, so the homeowner had to hook the second side of every screen. I will never use this service again.
Response by Fish Window Cleaning: All Homes have different window types and styles and cannot be judged to be the same. Some windows are much more labor intensive so pricing can fluctuate depending on the time it takes not necessarily how many one may have. Our estimators are experienced in evaluating the many varying types of windows and in determining any potential safety hazards our technicians may encounter when on site. It would be unfair to the customer, unfair to the company and unfair to our technicians if we priced the job solely on the number of windows and neglected to take the effort to go to the home and survey the job while considering the safety of the terrain etc. for our technicians when providing an estimate. It was not the client's home and as per request, we emailed the estimate. We then followed up with the customer by phone and she agreed to the price and in-turn we scheduled and completed the work. A few days later the customer, who lives in Hollis NH, called and complained about the previously agreed upon price after the work was completed. She mentioned problems with a couple of windows, and we arranged for a crew to return to resolve them. We pride ourselves on guaranteeing our work and our policy is to respond to the customer if there are any issues and return to the house to rectify any and all problems which is how we proceeded in this instance. Because the pricing continued to be an issue and after repeated calls, the owner agreed to return to re-examine the house and see if there was any flexibility in the pricing or maybe a mistake. The pricing was accurate to our standards but in the spirit of customer service and the owner wanting to appease the client, a partial refund check was issued and mailed to the customer. We feel we did everything we could in this instance to satisfy this customer including mailing a partial refund check.
