BUYER BEWARE! If you higher them it will be a nightmare. I wish I didnâ t have to post a bad review. When I met the people with FWG I thought I had found an honest and competent contractorâ ¦ WRONG! I sign d contract in March if 2023, I expected to wait due to hurricane Ian, I even would tell the employees immediately not the only house on the block with damages. Fast forward to today, I am going almost 10k in debt to fix the damages they did to our home! In nov16 they hit a waterline in my wall. I thought no big deal they said they would take care of it. NOPE! They dragged me on and on for over 10 months and now are saying itâ s not their fault tvey hit the line. Itâ s the original builders fault! REALLY!!! I hired them and assumed they would do their due diligence if they thought a waterline could be there. Itâ s obviously the only place it could be. But again, itâ s an accident which is why they have insurance. Not only did they do damage to my house with this water, but they have been to my house eight times to correct the poorly installed windows that theyâ ve done. I still have one window that the frame is due to the water. I would highly advise you get a certificate of insurance from this company they seem nice, but when push comes to shove, they will not do anything to help you, I asked for their information and their response was they were not giving me a blank check to do my repairs, all I want is my house back into condition. It was prior to hiring them, I donâ t want a brand new kitchen. Just one thatâ s not DAMAGED . I donâ t think I should have to pay 40k for windows and 10k for damages.i have a balance due if 5k which I have no problem paying when they do their job. Iâ ve heard people have this same problem, it seems to be their motto. Stay away I gave pictures of all the damages and all the visits they have made to say they were going to correct problems. Still waiting!
We hired Window Geeks to replace our windows, front door and sliding glass door after hurricane Ian around November or December 2022. As of today 9/23/2024 we still do not have the job completed. The experience has been awful. Delays on getting the windows and doors, the company would call to make an appointment to put the windows in and then cancel it. Every time they would tell us team will be there between 8-9 am, they would show up around 11 but would bring the incorrect materials or a person that was not able or trained to do the job. We would call many times to follow up and no one would call back, i would have to keep calling and eventually would get someone to speak to. During the install they broke a window, took months to get new one in. They had to have 3 different "experts" to come put our front door in, each time the person would have to take the entire door and and try to reinstall it. Each time the installers would leave without the job being completed we would get a phone call from the office for our final payment, i would tell them the job is not complete yet and they had no clue, told me someone would call to set new appointment. No one would call me and i would have to make phone call after phone call to get them back out. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
I am so disappointed in the service with Florida Window Geeks. My sales representative Marcus was great and perhaps why I went with them. I was told 9 months then took 13 months for partial install. Still have not completed 16 months later and now have rain seeping through because was never finished, With all the rain. I have called several times to be told I would have someone come out right away. Managers guaranteeing would be addressed immediately. Three months later still not completed. And still no screens. They are much higher priced than most companies but was assured because of their service. You are setting yourself up for disappointment with Florida Window Geeks.
They make you feel like family and really go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your choice of windows.
From the first interaction with Monica, who came to set up the order, we knew we had chosen the right company. As promised, the hurricane shutters were installed when we were told they would be and the workers were great. We are so fortunate to have had Monica with her knowledge and understanding.
Working with the staff was easy. The installation of our windows was flawless. Sam Robles is a true professional. He was extremely considerate and immaculate in his work. It was a very nice experience. We highly recommend Florida Window Geeks
