They were great! When they called to confirm the appointment, there were actually able to bump it up to the next day, which really helped with my schedule. They were prompt and on time. I was impressed with their expertise. The explained everything to me, and I've already recommended them.

The work was not satisfactory. The person who did the work did not help the situation. He promised to find a needed part, but failed to do so. He was impossible to locate and his superior did the same.

Their scheduling is poor. They do not give you any time schedule for the appointment. They say the plumber will call 30-45 minutes before arrival. After waiting for the call most of the day, I called Gem at 3:00 pm to get a status. I finally heard from the plumber at 3:15 and he said he was an hour away. If I hadn't called Gem, I wonder if I would ever have heard from him. The plumber ended up being excellent, he did a great job installing my new sink and toilet. One other negative point is their prices are very high. So poor scheduling, excellent service with high prices. Thus the rating of 2.5

Brian showed up on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and offered a solution. His work was quick and neat - problem solved. I honestly felt the cost was a little high but it was my choice to proceed and I'm glad I did. Would hire GEM again.
