Golden Rule General Contracting

Steve and crew power-washed the house, repaired the trim, painted the chimney top as well as the rest of the trim. My house looks so nice and "new." Then I had Steve and crew add radiant barrier to attic, and he repaired the HVAC ductwork before blowing in more insulation. Two months later, I seem to be paying less to heat my home. Just great. Thanks, Steve, Randy, and all.

Randy, Steve, Kevin, Arturo and the rest of the crew went above and beyond to get our insurance work completed. Our insurance company was horrible, but Kevin went out of his way to make sure they covered all that needed to be done. Work was completed quickly, efficiently, and completely. I recommend!

I was impressed with the customer service and going over and beyond to please me and to give me the best roof possible. Golden Rule persistently and patiently worked with my insurance company to get them to pay for ALL of the repairs needed. Randy did extra small jobs that were not even required for the contract. The reason I did not give five stars is because their contracted roofers were not properly supervised and did not do all of the cleanup promptly. Also a sufficient amount of roofing materials were not ordered to do the job initially and I had to wait a couple of extra days for the job to be completed. The contracted number of turbines were not installed initially. Randy persistently and politely responded to all of my complaints and I ended up with a great roof, turbines and gutters. Golden Rule provided for me a much better quality job than my insurance company wanted to provide through another company but Randy fought them for me.

When requesting bids to re-roof my house and replace some siding and do some painting, the principal of Golden Rule, Randy, spoke to me on the phone. He was very personable and easy to talk to. I happened to mention that I had a small section where shingles had blown loose. When his people came by to do the estimate, I was quite surprised that they also sent one of their construction foremen, Arturo, along with some shingles that matched my roof. While I was talking with the estimator, Arturo, removed the loose shingles and replaced with the new matching shingles. The estimator told me that they had viewed photos of my home and knew the color of my shingles, and there was no charge to patch that area. When I had received bids from a number of companies, Golden Rule's was one of the lowest (if not the very lowest ... can't recall). I was already impressed by the kindness of patching my roof without charging me, and I liked the people I dealt with, and had read a lot of great reviews, so I hired Golden Rule to do the work. The work is all complete now and was done very professionally and within a relatively short time span, and I am very pleased with the results. The construction foreman, Arturo, was very good about contacting me and telling me when work would be done, and answered all my questions, and gave good suggestions when I asked. Besides the good looking roof, the new siding was cut correctly to fit into triangular corners, was well-caulked at the seams, and professionally painted. Expert work done at a very competitive price! I definitely recommend Golden Rule!
