Dan was prompt and called before coming. He went the extra mile replacing our hot and cold shutoffs as well as replacing the faucet. Was courteous and professional. We will call him again if we have the need.

Goldsmith plumbing came over to fix a leaky faucet. In my opinion Dan Goldsmith took advantage of me and ultimately I have no idea of the work he performed. His trip charge is reasonable but I thought he would also quote me a fair price to fix my sink, not some inflated rate. His quote was $227 which I knew was high but at that point in time I had 2 options. Tell him to leave and pay him a trip charge or pay his alarming high rate. I chose to pay his rate otherwise I would have had to take another 2 hours of my time which I didn't have and pay another plumber on top of Goldsmith's Plumbing trip charge. From the time he set foot in my house, went to the store to purchase the alleged part and install it was an hour. From my research the part was approximately $20. He has billed me $200 an hour! Furthermore, when he allegedly was finished fixing the sink he never showed me the part he replaced and did not provide a receipt for it. He left with everything hidden in a bag.. I truly don't know if he actually replaced the part or what he did. In my experience he is untrustworthy and unethical. If you read his reviews (in hind sight I wish I did beforehand), there are quite a few others who have had similar problems with Goldsmith Plumbing.

Plumbers are not cheap but Danial allowed me to do some of the prep work which brought down my cost which I think was fair.
