Would not recommend this company!!! Samuel reached out to me and we discussed the project and agreed on a price for my the job which was installing a water line from my sink to my fridge's icemaker. Once he was finished the project, he tried to charge me for more than double of the price that we initially agreed on. Samuel was very rude and I felt like he was trying to take advantage of me because I was a single female homeowner and there wasn't a man there to challenge him. He said the price was more than 2x the original quote because he made 3 visits to my property (not my fault) and he needed to get this part. We previously had multiple conversations during the planning of the project and never once did he mention that the price was increasing this much. Samuel came out initially to do the work and realized that another part was needed for the plumbing and said he would get the part and come back in a day or two. I assumed the project would cost approx $20-40 more for the small part, but he never mentioned a new price during this visit. Only once I rejected his new price and threatened to call the police, did he try to negotiate a price with me. We had a heated argument where Samuel was raising his voice at me and displaying aggressive body language which made me very uncomfortable. So in order to get him out of my home, I just agreed to pay more than originally quoted but not as much as he tried to extort me for initially. To make matters worse, the quality of the work was subpar. Samuel had to drill holes in the back of my cabinets to run the water line over to the freezer. His work was very careless and sloppy. He drilled 2 unnecessary holes in one of my cabinets (and didnt even bother to tell me that he made mistakes and drilled unneeded holes). They are large and very noticeable. Additionally, he haphazardly ran the water line through the middle of one of my cabinets and as a result, I cannot use the this cabinet for storage anymore because the waterline is literally sitting in the middle of the cabinet. When I've had a waterline installed at another property, the contractor ran it neatly around the endge of the cabinet to avoid it being in the way of me using the cabinet for storage and also secured the waterline to the cabinet. After completing the project, Samuel didnt check to make sure that the waterline was properly distributing water to the icemaker. He just left and told me to call him if it wasnt working and he would come back....After the unpleasant experience that I had with Samuel, I was even more disappointed to see that the waterline was not delivering enough water to the icemaker to fill up the icetray. So now not only did I overpay for a sloppy job but I overpaid for a incomplete project. I didnt take Samuel up on his offer to come back and fix the waterline even though I already paid him and the job was incomplete. At this point, I just wasnt comfortable allowing him back in my home and I feared that he would cause more damage than he already did or try to charge me additionally for it. Ultimately I will be coming out of pocket to pay for another professional to fix the mess that Samuel made. Lastly, Samuel gave me a flyer for his business and the name on the flyer did not match the company name here on Homeadvisor. I found that really strange and a bit concerning...
