Pete did the estimate and was knowledgeable about the quality of our wood floors based on the age of our house. He answered lots of questions for us and did not rush or pressure us into picking his company. Dave and his crew, with crew chief Toby, did the actual refinishing. They were friendly and professional and did the job in 2 days ( no stain, just oil finish). We were concerned about a few spots that might not come out great because of the wear, but they came out amazing. At the start of the job they let us know that we should do oil based varnish instead of water based because it might warp some of the boards because of their quality. We really appreciated this attention to detail and care about our floors. We don't know anything about this stuff and felt like they wanted our floors to come out as perfect as we did. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because there were sander marks in a small area that couldn't be buffed with the large sander. Toby came by to look at it and said they would redo it if we wanted. He was also offered to touch up a small section of board that was rotten. Overall we are very happy that we went with Grove Manor. They were not the cheapest, but we felt the communication and quality of work was great. This is not their fault, but we wish they would have told us to remove the quarter round from the baseboards. We thought the sanding would remove the carpet glue and fibers, but that plan only worked on the flat baseboards. Should have done our research ;)

Grove Manor flooring came in to clean up a job that another flooring company started and walked away from, leaving me with a partially sanded floor. They were professional and thorough from the beginning to the end and did a great job. Wonderful communication throughout the entire process and a stark contrast to the other company's horrible performance.

Work was done professionally. They did what they promised and on time. Took care in protecting interior finishes. Would highly recommend.

The crew did excellent work. I found some minor mistakes/oversights after the work was complete but Grove Manor promptly addressed these minor issues. I highly recommend these folks.

The start of our project was delayed because the tile contractors needed more time to complete the job before us. They made up for the delay by putting 4 workers on the tile installation and completed the project on the original projected completion day, without any loss of quality; and we were quite pleased with the result; this despite the fact that we suggested a design that may have taken longer to accomplish.

Earlier this summer, we had our hardwood stairs refinished by Grove Manor Flooring. We couldn t be more pleased. The stairs are located in our entry way and can be seen right as you enter our home. Many people have been so surprised by the transformation. The stairs are simply beautiful. We would recommend Grove Manor to anyone who wants a professional, high quality home improvement. Everyone we dealt with was very polite and anxious for us to be happy with their work. They did everything they could to make sure we were satisfied with the experience.
