I had a wax-burning ceramic plug in burn out in the wall outlet. I woke up @ 4am & smelled something burning, I thought it was the space heater, so I pulled the plug from the wall. The smell seemed to abate; I looked up "electrician" in my area on Home Advisor & found Mr. Druhl's listing. He came to my house in a very short time, and checked the outlet - he said I was one very lucky person. The ceramic plug had burned behind cover. He replaced the wires and I now have a new outlet. BUT, the next morning, my daughter called in a panic, they had discovered a wall outlet was hot to the touch, and asked about Mr. Druhl, I gave her his phone number, and he responded to her house very quickly, and found the problem, and replaced the outlet. Mr., Druhl is a complete and total professional. This man is honorable and trustworthy.

When a bank of outlets went dead, I checked one, then called for a Pro. After 3 hours, Guardian had checked all dead outlets, replaced 2 then declared he didn't know what the problem was. My brother (an electrician) came to investigate. He checked to ensure power was coming from the Panel Box then systematically checked all dead outlets. Finding no problem, he began systematically checking all outlets. One outlet in the living room had wires falling off the recepticle and he repaired it. For $85 I got 2 new outlets I didn't need and the problem wasn't fixed by Guardian. Mr. Druhl was pleasant but unfamiliar with older homes.
Response by Guardian Electronics: This customer was a pleasure to work for.I am Sorry I was unable to find the bad wiring at the receptacle in question. The repairs I did make were approved by the customer and I believe I would have found the problem eventually if I had stayed alittle longer. The customer said she had a brother who was an electrician and he would check it out.I did not want to continue on and run up her bill in light of her brother comming to help her out.I would have been more than happy to have come back to make the repairs at no charge if her brother could not stay and make the repairs.
