Headed Home Roofing and Painting

BJ was my initial contact person. He came to look at project. We are in the wet area of Nuuanu so I told him timing has a lot to do with the weather. It held True to my word. Estimate received. Asked about payment options after initial 1/2 down. No problem Waited for confirmation date to start. Called BJ for update after hadn't received any, he checked, then I got the confirmation email. They asked to move up start date. No problem. Shakey start, pend weather of course. Crew leader very pleasant. Called when they were coming in between projects. A bit inconvenient in timing for me, due to making sure someone here for them. Project completed. Didn't get a final ok from crews supervisor to check work & say their job is done. All in all, no leak 😃 Mahalo!

Wasn't the best experience initially but it wasn't the worst. Off to a slow start but Jherard really took the time to make the experience good. Once the roof was surveyed and I gave the okay for the project it was a bit tricky. I had multiple projects lined up and timing was based off of the roof completion. I had a difficult time reaching anyone on phone and had a major delay with email. I guess I was just trying to call the guys surveyed when I should have just called the office. Probably my fault since I spoke to the owner in the beginning but things happen. Super cool and nice once I reached someone so that's a positive. I was near the office one day and needed shingle samples to submit to my HOA so I called and went by. They didn't have any samples in the office so that took another day to get. H2 (residential side of Headed Home) explained that they wanted the solar guys to wait until the roof was complete before they started the solar install. Completely understandable. What was over looked was a communication between the two contractors of the work to be done by both parties to ensure there are no issues once everything is complete. I think this is important because if you live in a HOA community they are extremely particular. I only mention this because crew placed a VENT in the CENTER of where my panels were at. Caused a lot of issues with my HOA and solar team and I'm having to clean that up. A 1200 sq ft roof too (3) three days to be 98% complete. On day (4) four the crew came back to finish a ridge with shingles. Top it off I had extra roofing material left on the roof and another bag on the side of the house. That was another coordination I had to establish but the crew took care of it all. I'm only picking on these small things because that's all there is to point out when the job itself was great. It was also an issue because the property is a rental and potential renters don't necessarily want to see roofing material around a house. Something else that would be nice and competitive is that every other contractor bidding for the project was willing to handle the HOA paperwork and submission. Of course it's not needed but the fact that an offer was given means they are willing to go the extra mile. In the end Jherard really came through to make it a good experience. All in all my roof looks pretty good.

Headed Home did such a great job on the exterior painting on our home! It had been over 17 years since it was last painted so our home required a complete prep, power wash, caulking and primer before painting. Cody and his crew knocked it out of the park! Our house looks brand new. The bid was very affordable , they showed up everyday on time and were extremely courteous and professional. The attention to detail in their work was incredible. I would recommend Headed Home painting to any homeowner! Amazing work and customer service.

Responsive to changes, Good communication

Jherell is honest and caring. He admits they are not perfect but they will work hard to make it perfect or correct things as needed. We do everything we can to make sure we leave you with a product that gives you your monies worth and fulfill our contract obligations. On every project unexpected things happen. What separates us is we take every step necessary to correct them and not leave you with an insufficient product. Main thing is when we are done we leave you with everything better than it was then when we got there. And Jherell really means it!

They did exactly what we wanted and completed it within a day.

The Headed Home team was amazing! They completed the project quickly, but were extremely thorough. Their amazing Foreman, saw roof damage that I was unaware of and corrected it completely with very little extra cost. The foreman also gave me an excellent recommendation for replacing my solar fan, which the team did at no additional cost. When they completely the project, they left the area perfectly clean. Lastly, the price for the work was super reasonable. Outstanding team! I plan to call on them again for some painting work and I would recommend them to anyone.

Great value and quality of work; installed roof ridge vents and sealed leaking gutters for much less than other estimates.
