Helping hands was the second company I tried to hire to help with a insurance claim for roof damage. They were very helpful with the claims adjuster and getting me an entire roof replacement. They did miss one appointment with me and had to return a second time to complete the interior ceiling repairs to my satisfaction but they were very friendly and helpful overall.

We had an excellent experience working with Brittany and Martell of Helping Hands Home Improvement. Brittany came to our home first, then she and Martell met at our home for him to inspect our roof; it was determined we had a lot of wind and hail damage. Brittany promptly called in a claim to our insurance company. She met our insurance company's adjuster the very next day! How is that for super-fast service?! The adjuster agreed a new roof was needed for our home. Brittany and Martell were very courteous and professional. We had our roof installed within two weeks. The installers were all professional, courteous, and cleaned up our yard of all nail and debris. We would most-definitely recommend Helping Hands to family and friends, as well as use them in the future for other home improvement projects. This was a totally pleasant experience from beginning to end and a friendship was made along the process!

5 stars to Helping Hands. I have lived in my home for over 26 years. I knew it was time to check out roofing contractors but I kept putting it off. I was skeptical of contractors in general as I had heard a lot of horror stories about them. It wasn’t until I discovered a dark spot on the ceiling and tired of picking up blown off shingles from the yard that I realized it was time to make that call. During my research and reviews, I called three companies to come out, showed them the spot on the ceiling and the response was more or less, “Yeah, we can take care of that with a new roof.” I decided to call Helping Hands Home Improvement and it was a hit! I had an excellent experience from the initial phone call presentation with Brittany the Manager, to the owner Hunter . I was very impressed with Hunter’s knowledge and professionalism. After I showed him the spot on the ceiling he determined this to be live active black mold. It turned out that he’s 1 of only 12 workers in Tennessee who holds a certificate with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) as a mold inspector. I knew then I was in good hands. The entire process seemed collaborative by design. The crew arrived by 6:30AM, with at least 8 guys (including 1 female) and they all worked in unison and did it well. The crew covered all the plants and shrubs with tarps, by the time this was finished the truck with the shingles came and the guys storm nail everything with 6 nails per shingle to ensure no flying shingles anytime soon; afterwards they cleaned up all the debris including any nails that may have fallen on the ground. Hunter even came by that afternoon to check of the workmanship and to make sure I was happy how the process was going. By 2:00PM, the entire job was completed and as an extra bonus to the quality service I received, the roof of my shed was re-roofed to match the house and someone painted all the ventilation pipes black as well. I cannot give higher enough praise to Helping Hands Home Improvement and its crew for their professionalism and excellent quality workmanship. They are caring people who want to do a great job and shows pride in their accomplishments. I love my new roof and would strongly recommend them!

It was a pleasure to have Hunter and the rest of his crew replace the roof on my house. From the moment I first spoke with him, he was extremely professional and responsive -- he made the entire process as easy as he possibly could on me, he kept me in the loop at all times, and he very patiently walked me through every step of the insurance/roofing/payment processes. And, of course, the roof turned out great! Truly, it could not have been a more pain-free experience on my end.

The work was done well and in a timely fashion. The communication was lacking. We needed several things done, including our main concern - chimney leak repair, and before we received a quote, we got a call to schedule the roof replacement. Before the work was completed, we got a call to pick up the certificate of completion which we didn't have yet. The lack of consistency with communication was unnerving but I would recommend them as I believe they are honest, hard-working people. Just be sure that you get quotes in writing before work is started so there aren't any surprises. The chimney and beam repair ended up being quoted at twice the amount that was presented in the beginning. It was still reasonably priced in the end and they came by a couple of times afterward to make sure all shingles had set properly and that paint was covered completely. Overall, they did a good job and I will probably use them again for other things.

They were very informative, easy to deal with, very knowledgeable. The job was quickly done and we will definitely be using them in the future for a deck replacement.
