I chose to work in this industry because throughout our history, Henderson Electric of NWF has built a reputation of quality electrical professionalism. Our History in Northwest Florida: for four generations, our family has provided unbeatable residential electrician services to the Gulf Coast. Today, Henderson Electric of NWF is a company that specializes in both large Commercial projects and Residential projects. Fort Walton Beach is where our Headquarters is located, with a dedicated office staff and a highly skilled field crew. Henderson Electric of NWF is capable of taking on some of the largest and most complex projects while being able to complete the job in a timely fashion with excellent workmanship. After waiting for an appointment for several weeks, this company canceled on us two weeks in a row. The work was never completed.

We had every intention of having our tech there on Friday, the 25th - but unfortunately, he called in sick and we had to cancel. We did make every attempt to reschedule with you. I hired this company on May 29th to install 6” recessed lights in our kitchen and hallway…I was very pleased with the quality of their work; however, not so much with their scheduling...Initial work was completed on June 18th and the final work on July 28th! The timing seemed a little bit excessive to me? In spite of this, Ricky Weaver (Electrician) done an outstanding job! He was polite, supportive, and professional, from the beginning to the end of the project…My wife and I really appreciated him and his dedication to his job!!!

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
