DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!! I initially contacted Home Service Doctors to conduct a leak inspection and I was at first very impressed. The tech Michael was great . . . very professional, seemed very honest and was helpful. I was impressed enough to sign up for their monthly membership. A few days later, I experienced a floor in my basement laundry room draining pipe. I called HSD again and a technician came out and snaked the drainpipe, but then recommended I get the line Hydro Jetted, to which I agreed and he completed, but it did not seem to work, so he suggested I needed to have the line removed replaced which meant my concrete floor would have to be ripped out to the tune of $3k+. I agreed and scheduled the service for the following day. The crew shows up (not wearing face masks and seemed offended when I asked them to wear them). They checked out the area and then informed me that they would not be able to complete the task and then left without doing any work. Later that evening, I noticed something floating in the draining hole. I fished it out and it turned out to be a squeegy ball and an old tube of lip balm. Apparently, the snaking hydro jetting the tech had done the day before had loosened it and they floated to the top of the drain. This apparently was the cause of the blockage because we had no more problems with the drain properly draining and have not experienced any problems since. I notified Home Service Doctors the very next day to advise that whatever the first technician did with the snaking Hydro Jetting apparently worked and the problem had been resolved, and therefore I would not need the more extensive (and expensive) job of jack-hammering my concrete floor to replace the draining pipe and to cancel the additional service and refund the $1,550 deposit I had paid. I was given the run-around and finally spoke with the Services Manager, Brent, who hemmed hawed saying that deposits are non-refundable, even though they had done NO work and actually had refused to do any work. I also explained to him that the snaking hydro-jetting actually seemed to have resolved the issue, so there actually was no need for the more extensive draining work because they had actually fixed the issue. He still refused to refund me my money. In my opinion, this company is a fraud. They recommended a service that I obviously did not need which would have meant literally jack-hammering up my concrete flooring. And on top of that, THEY refused to do the work. So how can they justify not refunding me the deposit I paid for a service they refused to do, and for which is no longer needed because THEIR first technician actually resolved the matter. This experience with Home Service Doctors has turned into an utter nightmare!! I thought they were an honest and fair company. Unfortunately for me, I learned the hard and expensive way that they are anything but. I would be very wary of doing business with this company. Oh . . .and they also failed to install my new filter grill for my HVAC system and STILL have not refunded me my money. I would NOT recommend this company at all!! If I could give them a zero rating I would!!!

The technician came to my home on August 26th for a free estimate on my a/c repair. At first he said that I needed a new motor. Then he said that he read his meter wrong and that I need Freon, but since he read his meter wrong he would not charge me for the Freon if I replaced the motor. He collected $952 for the total cost of the motor, labor and annual service, however to date (September 28th) I have not received the motor or service, and 3 weeks after his visit I received a brochure on their maintenance plans. I have called repeatedly, and emailed, with no response. Now 5 weeks later Home Service Doctors have $952 of my money and I have received nothing. I am not comfortable moving forward with Home Service Doctors in any way and just want my $952 refunded, By the way, I disputed the charge with my bank, and Home Service Doctors has not responded to them either!

HSD is always my go-to for anything plumbing and A/C related. I've been using them for years and will never go w/ anyone else. They're SO honest and are there when you need them. They also do a top-notch job and back-up their guarantee.

Decided to use Home Service Doctors for all services they provide to include bi annual inspections. They have great customer service and so far have shown that their technicians are very knowledgeable. They provided multiple suggestions but were not pushy. I will continue to hire them for both large and small projects.
