Every step of the way in dealing with this company was easy and professional. From the first visit with the tester who confirmed it was in fact asbestos that I had in my basement to the emails with Gary who was very good with communicating on email to the actual job - I can only give 5 stars. The job was an all day process and the crew did not leave until they were done that night. I appreciated the option of finding out by 2:30 what time they expected to be done later that night so I could plan the next day. The site was left spotless and the job was completed perfectly. I received a certificate of safe inspection of air quality so I feel better knowing the asbestos is completely gone. I highly recommend this company to anyone shopping around for asbestos removal.

We recently moved into a home that has been in my wife's family for over 110 years. When the house had been converted to gas the original coal furnace was never removed from the basement. We needed the space so we wanted to have the furnace removed. Upon inspection the inside of the furnace was covered with a material that was flaking off of the interior walls. Being suspicious that this was not a good sign we contacted several companies to investigate and determine what the material was. After meeting with the contractors it was clear that the material in question was asbestos. With no choice but to have it removed we decided to proceed using Homeguard Environmental Services. Their representative was professional, knowledgeable, informative and we were quoted what we felt was a fair and reasonable price. During the process the work was started and completed within the specified time, their crew was courteous, clean and respected our personal space.
