After the new system was installed the project manager forgot about the job and threw off the timeline of the work going on at the home. When I contacted him to reconcile the situation he gave me a hard time, even after admitting he let the project slip through the cracks. He then told me to call his office, in which I had to call for weeks before I could get any answers regarding the status of the project. HousePro did not install any vent covers throughout the entire home; in addition, they charged me for ducting vent fans in the bathrooms but didn't do the work (that's stealing :). Ultimately, I did not feel valued as a customer due to their neglect with the project and lack of customer service. I was given a name to contact for a refund for the work that was charged that was never done and every time I call he is never available. I have left several voice mails and it's been over three weeks since I was told the refund was being sent. I have never experienced such poor customer service from a contractor.
Response by House Pro, Inc.: We have addressed this issue with the BBB and the BBB sided with House Pro on the dispute. We did not forget any work, David H, was acting as a general contractor on the job, which he was not qualified to do (he is the boyfriend of the actual customer - (consumer name withheld per their request) ), and after we installed the A/C system did not contact us before giving the other sub contractors the go ahead to install sheet rock that prevented us from being able to install the bath vans. Our contract did not cover removing and reinstalling sheetrock which they then demanded we do at no charge. We visited the house on two occasions at no charge after the initial install only to find that we were unable to complete bath fan installation. No one at the company "forgot" as we were waiting (and followed up multiple times) on other work to be completed. Furthermore, despite inaccurate and vicious online reviews, we actually gave the customer a free next day service call when they were having cooling issues. During the call we discovered the issue was caused by a dirty air filter restricting air flow which had nothing to do with our installation. The excessive dust caused by the work going on in the home caused the filter to become extremely impacted and did not allow the system to run properly. On separate review she sites she left comments saying she was going to sue us for the hotel bill to stay somewhere. I'm not sure why she would ask us to pay her hotel bill because she forgot to change the filters? They then worked with our sales representative and agreed a refund of $300 would be fair since we could no longer complete a very small portion of the install. Considering that we have sent multiple technicians to her home at no charge following the installation, including recently because she did not change a filter, $300 is a very generous offer to refund for an error we did not cause. Unfortunately, (consumer name withheld per their request) has been leaving reviews on multiple sites and are now stating for some reason they think the refund should be $500. Even worse (consumer name withheld per their request) has begun posting racist and sexist comments directed to her sales consultant.

House Pro did a great job with the installation of a new 5 Ton Variable Speed A/C system into my house. The owner (Murray) oversaw the install personally and made sure everything was correct. The installation crew was very professional and knowledgeable about the products. There was a little issue with the 3rd party sheet rocker and painter, but House Pro handled it like a pro and corrected the situation. I would recommend House Pro to anybody looking to have HVAC work done.

House Pro did a great job with replacement of my air conditioning system. Murray, the owner of House Pro correctly evaluated my old system and provided me with great advice on how to improve my cooling and heating. They're installed team did an excellent job with installing my air conditioning system in one day. I also purchased a new attic access ladder and cover door. This installation was completed on time and top-notch. House Pro earned their top rating of 5.0.

The guys that did installation worked very hard and were very nice. The guys that came back to finish the job were very nice also. The problem was no communication or organization in the office. Did not bring right materials, no showed for one appointment and made no attempt to correct ceiling damage from poorly installed AC registers. The office was suppose to be open and never answered phone and then had no recollection of promising to come back and finish/correct work. If I had not called to confirm the third appointment no one would have showed up because I was told the manager that I spoke to no longer worked there.

They don't take care of the customers. They just took the money, signed up for their membership and left. After three weeks came to the house and installed two returns that weren't working. Temperature in the house is still 81-83 degrees. Try to contact customer service and they keep saying that they will call us back. Even one time they made the appointment but never showed up. So frustrated.
