On 9-5-20 I gave J.A.G. Business Services LLC a 50% deposit ($8,025) to procure materials and to build a front porch on my house and repair a utility shed. They said they could have it completed so we could enjoy it that fall. then the excuses started. The Permitting process was taking longer than expected the City was swamped with permits. fall rolled into winter and still no materials or work performed. Finally received a text that the permits would be approved in late Feb 2021. No contact again until April 2021. Now told Still no permit with out proper drawings. Another Excuse. My only contact with J.A.G. was through Martin Jones who no longer works for J.A.G. I have tried contacting the owner Jay Robison through e-mail and text. With no response. It has now been almost a year since I put down my deposit and I still have no porch or any work performed. The only Materials I have received are (2) 8x8 post taking up valuable room in my drive way. and no communication from J.A.G. They wont respond to my texts or emails. I am going to have to file a civil suit if I want to get my deposit back. What ever you do do not hire this company. They are dishonest and cannot be trusted. Please take note too that when I contracted with them over a year ago. They were recommended to me by Home Advisor.

This company was awful! They did not live up to the HomeAdvisor code of conduct, one of which states, to be reliable, honest, honor agreements and answer calls/texts in a timely manner, which I have documented they did not do. We signed our contract with them in January of 2020 to build our mudroom and gave them a 50% deposit. Work did not start due to winter weather, then came the covid-19 virus, so understanding the closures and delays, sporadic work began in May. Within a couple of weeks, the repeated excuses started as to why they did not show up when scheduled or did not have a construction worker to work the job. They ordered and installed the incorrect windows and failed to order other supplies they were supposed to.  Being a trusting person, I, unfortunately, believed their excuses and always portrayed politeness in my communications. I have documented several incidents of failure to return text messages, phone calls, and emails. And all the while, we never received any reply to calls directed to Jay Robison. Finally, CJ communicated with us, and eventually, they just ghosted us. We even called Gerald Green, Jay partner, who said he would look into it, but he never responded. Once we hired another contractor to finish the project, we discovered the room framing was crooked and the windows had to be rehung by our replacement contractor. Unfortunately, we did not look back far enough in the Home Advisor reviews to see 2 other complaints by other customers that were similar (July 5, 2019 Aug. 12, 2019). Only about 25% of the work was completed on our project. They have not provided refunds for their breach of contract/failure to complete the job, nor provided us with requested written receipts for deposits, transactions, or cost of materials purchased and labor costs, verifying total expenses. These are deceptive and unconscionable acts towards a consumer. We gave them every chance to rectify this situation. We have since noticed their business accreditation was revoked 9/9/20 due to failure to adhere to BBB requirements and standards. Do not hire them!
