BUYER BEWARE My husband and I have to take Goss Construction to small claims court to get back our $5000 deposit for his supposedly doing permitting and the NOI for our modular home. Wed hoped he would be our contractor for the excavation, foundation etc but he showed no knowledge of basic modular home requirements and more, gave us no estimates for the bank. Thus, we couldnt use him. He was also rude and dishonorable. Although we were given absolutely nothing for our $5000 investment, he only offered an $1100. refund which was of course totally unacceptable.

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR! Non completion of work, Left us with unfinished project and strung us along for 7 months. Worst experience we ever had! Hired J Goss Construction to add an addition to our home in Feb 2020, along with building large deck, install raw oak flooring in kitchen, dining room and new family room. Also, to renovate kitchen with half wall and finish ceiling. He stated that he would be done all renovations by May 1. Chose him over many other quotes because time was a factor. Numerous attempts were made to Jarrod as to when work would begin. Many weeks went by with no contact from Jarrod. Minimal work finally started in March. It is now end of September and all my flooring installed was not level, slider door awful, not installed correctly. Jarrod refused to repair or replace slider door, did not complete floor. Still unfinished and not level. Did not build deck or finish kitchen. Kitchen ceiling cracked. He was never on the job to make sure subs were doing things correctly. He also used covid as an excuse, while he took our money and worked on other jobs instead of our project. (See BBB for reviews) On August 13th, email sent from Jarrod removing himself from my project!!! He breached our contract! I am now trying to find another contractor during this busy time to fix their mess and finish my house. We were very patient with Jarrod throughout the last 7 months. DON'T HIRE J GOSS CONSTRUCTION! He does false advertising. He's not on the job 100% and does not guarantee his work. You can't discuss any concerns you might have about the project with him. He speaks rudely to you and treats you with disrespect. He left us with an unfinished project and strung us along for 7 months. The above statements are based on our experience and our opinion.

He does great work for a great price. Very thorough.
