I called on Kaci Woodworks to refinish a custom curved bar and sideboard cabinet drawers that had been delivered to me from another manufacturer with the wrong finish. Hakim Kaci was a complete professional: responsive, knowledgable, courteous and thorough. He and Scot Debruler not only refinished the surfaces as I had requested, but took additional steps to improve the quality of the pieces, like adjusting the drawer face sizes and alignment for a more perfect and uniform fit. They stood behind their work and always put forth the extra effort required to make sure what they delivered was perfect and to my satisfaction. Nice guy with lots of integrity: I highly recommend Kaci Woodworks for any new or refinish woodworking projects.

Contrary to other professional opinions Hakim worked out a way to save the original oak paneled doors which needed to make room for a larger refrigerator. He remounted, readjusted and matched pieces of the surrrounding woodwork. It looks like nothing changed. I couldn't be more pleased with the result!

I had a major remodel of my condo a few years ago that included every room. The kitchen was last and after replacing the floor, countertops and backsplash, I was over budget so I left the cabinets for later. I recently hired Kaci Woodworks to redo the cabinets. The project was complex because I wanted to keep the handmade Japanese backsplash and because the 30 year old cabinet style needed streamlining and because the configuration is full of strange angles. Hakim Kaci determined that the original cabinet boxes were strong enough to keep, so the task was to do a complete refacing of doors, drawers, end panels, hidden surfaces visible only when the doors and drawers are open, and the odd angle joining. It was nothing short of a jigsaw puzzle with over 50 individual pieces to create one seamless surface. I decided on solid cherry and the result is amazing. The attention to detail was meticulous and the project was completed on time and within budget. Hakim also designs and creates furniture and I'm considering a desk in the future.

Hakim came all the way from Ballard to Fairwood just to attach a new drawer front and knob to a new drawer I had bought. He arrived right on time and was very quick and professional. I am very pleased. The price was very reasonable. I plan to request his services in the future, but next time will try to make it more worth his while for the trip over. I know he is busy with much larger jobs and, as he explained, they like to help people out, like me, with their small projects sometimes. So grateful he did.

My initial project idea was to have my kitchen cabinets refaced and at a later date later to have some work done on a bathroom. But after thinking about it, I decided to reverse the order of the project. I hired Kaci Woodworks to replace a bathroom vanity and to create a floor to ceiling door and surround for an existing built-in set of shelves. The owner of the company, Hakim Kaci, made an appointment to come to my condo to discuss my plan and to show me his portfolio of previous custom projects that included not only kitchens and bathrooms but beautiful furniture as well. Hakim took my initial ideas and suggested designs and finishes. Once we agreed on the project he provided a detailed estimate and schedule within 24 hours. The two pieces were completed within our schedule and the results are stunning. The workmanship and the attention to detail were amazing and the finished pieces exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Kaci Woodworks and I am planning to have them redo my kitchen cabinets this fall.

My kitchen cabinets and pantry are a work of art. They are beautiful, look amazing, and are a perfect match with my old cabinets in my kitchen. They were custom built with love. The installation was done in one day in no time at all. I wish I had another project for him. He and Scott were kind, serious, thoughtful professionals. I enjoyed having them in my home.

We had to have two cabinet doors trimmed down by about 1 1/2 inches to accommodate a new microwave. Hakim is an artisan! Besides trimming down the doors to size, he applied new veneer, and stained it to match the current color of each door (the doors are maple, and so darkened in the sun) -- even though no one will be able to see the veneer, because it's near the ceiling. We will be adding a kitchen island later this year, and I'm using Hakim to build this for us!

He didn't do his job. He didn't come with any tools, he was very unprepared. He didn't seem to know what he was doing. He over-charged & never said anything about a trip fee.
