We have done an addition of ~180sft which includes adding a brand new full bath as well. Kanler took up the project and met all our expectations and delivered on time. Things we liked about them: 1. They are very prompt in responding to our queries and resolving issues 2. They made sure that the project completed on time 3. They were totally transparent when dealing with change orders I have already recommended them to friends!

We hired Kanler recently for a full remodel of our condo in San Francisco. We wanted to transform the look of the place from really old to modern and hip. I am interior designer by profession so I was very picky about the contractor I work with. Kanler shined out from the bunch easily. Their unique business model that entails radical price transparency, easy milestone based payment system and guarantee that every professional working at my place would be licensed made them an easy choice for me by far. The thing that applied to me particularly was the ease with which they handled the SF permits process and building inspections that are known to be very difficult - I should know, I work in the profession! Now I recommend Kanler to all of my clients who hire me for interior design work for their remodeling projects. Our project could not have come any better, and it's good to know that finally there is a new company that is changing the ballgame. I would highly recommend Kanler to everybody!

I hired Kanler through a reference from my brother who had used them for the apartment complex he owns in Mountain View. My project was to create a secondary unit on top of my garage that I could rent for a really high price given the location of my house in prime Los Altos area. I am retired and wanted to create a steady source of income. I could not be happier with their work, I make more than 7k per month by renting the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, living room, kitchen, condo Kanler built for me, MANY ALL THANKS TO KANLER! Their Project Manager Robert was always available, literally 24/7. He is one of the smartest individuals I have worked with, always on top of his game, uses cutting edge technology to organize his work and his workers, and always greeted me with a smile. Oh what a pleasure it was working with Kanler. My project was completed with high quality, on time, within budget. Even if other contractors can guarantee all three, they probably cannot meet the organization skills and top notch customer service of Kanler team. I highly recommend them to everyone who is willing to pay for the peace of mind!

We hired Kanler to remodel our kitchen and are very happy with the outcome. Kanler was the only company that gave us the kind of confidence we needed for the success of our project given the crazy busy schedules my husband and I have given our jobs and two kids. They follow an Uber-like model where they put together a team for our project - electrician, plumber, granite-guy, tile-guy, etc. Everyone chosen for our project was a specialist and ONLY did that; not a generalist like some of the other GCs we spoke to would have provided. This approach also helped us get the best cost because a lot of professionals were contacted by Kanler for our project and only the reasonably priced ones were finally selected by Kanler. To top it all off, given their dashboard on their website, we were able to follow along the progress of our project, given comments/inputs for the choice of our faucets, appliances and other items we wanted to choose. Overall, the experience was so painless and so rewarding at the end. We would highly recommend Kanler to anybody!

I purchased a 5000 sq ft mansion in Westwood Highlands in the city with a large area of it unfinished. After my purchase I wanted to finish this section of the house but since everything else in the house is very high-end, I needed a very high-end contractor. Furthermore being extremely busy, I wanted to find someone who would handle everything for me. I was fortunate to find Kanler and they addressed all of my needs. To my surprise, despite their high-quality work examples and solid references, they were also the cheapest bid! I worked closely with Alex and Robert and couldn't be happier with the end result. They are definitely the new-age 21st Century construction company that they claim to be. The dashbaord of their software allowed me to remain in sync with the project plan and next steps at all times, as well as gave me a single platform to interact and communicate my needs. Kanler was always very responsive and very transparent about everything. My favorite part was the savings! Overall, I give them 5-stars and highly recommend them to everyone!

My husband and I hired Kanler after interviewing a whole lot of GCs and construction management companies. Our project was to add a living room and a new bathroom by extending our current house into the backyard. We were biased towards working with a GC given the money that we will save while working directly with a GC. Very quickly we realized all the advantages Kanler (as a construction management) would bring to us, they protected us contractually for all things the GC may mess up, Kanler also took care of following the schedule and updating us constantly, and they did quality checks at every small milestone, especially when there was no city inspector to check the quality of the sub-contractor's work such as floor installation. Overall for the services they provided, the little extra that we had to pay in comparison to working with a GC directly was totally worth it. Both my husband and I work and we have two little kids and peace of mind was the only thing that mattered the most to us. And that's where Kanler shined the most in my opinion. We always knew that if by paying just a little extra we can be in a position where we don't have to worry about anything we will do it. Overall very happy with Kanler, and would highly recommend them to anybody and everybody!

I have remodeled over 3 houses and flipped them. Every time I had issues with the GC, and I thought that that is the best it can get. That home construction is intrinsically a horrible process and there is no way around it. I knew that I could pay a heck lot more to get better service, but being a flipper, every extra buck paid goes out of my profit. And then I came across Kanler on Houzz. They are a construction management company and acted as the project manager for my home construction. The mind-blowing aspect about them was the price and the peace of mind. I did not have to deal with the GC even once, no change orders, no threats of filing a lien on my house, no schedule slips, no budget over-runs all that BS I had gone through in the past. It was unbelievable. For providing such an amazing service, something I always dreamed of, Kanler could have charged me a lot, but in stead they were cheaper than one of the direct GC bids I received! I can go on, in a nutshell, they are the obvious choice for any homeowner wanting to do remodeling. I hope that they bring happiness to a lot of more families and finally change this bad reputation of residential remodeling. I high recommend them to everyone!

I am a busy professional working at WhattsApp (Facebook). I wanted to sell my house in Menlo Park for a top value, and needed a GC who will give me the best service, best price, with as little of my involvement as possible. After spending a marathon 3 weeks meeting more than a dozen GCs, I was convinced of my choice to go with Kanler. The next 6 months breezed through. My entire house was gutted down and remodeled to a charm. Robert and Ramin at Kanler took notes and kept me abreast at all times with my project. For each and every step of the process (architect, structural engineer, foundation, framing, electrical, plumbing, etc.) they were able to find me several options, and gave me the information to select. I actually never did make the selection and just went with their recommendations, but it was good seeing how thorough they were. The best thing I liked about them was their transparency. Literally every dollar I spent, I knew where it went and why I spent it. Oh and I was able to sell my house for top dollars, about a million more than its Zestimate! Great experience and I would highly recommend them to anybody!

I own several properties in Cupertino and I used to be a general contractor. My husband and I live off of the rent of our houses. Recently, we hired Kanler to do a big remodeling project at one of our houses. We had several general contractor friends from being in business for over 50 years, but we chose Kanler for the following reasons: a) They got us over 20 bids for our project. There is just no way we could have possibly met these many contractors on our own. b) We met the Kanler team in the beginning, they reviewed our plans and came up with a very detailed scope of work that they then shared with all GCs in their network. This way all of our bids could be compared apples to apples. c) They were "always" there for us, from the beginning to the end, making sure that whichever professional we worked with, be it the structural engineer, or the GC, or the interior designer; none of them could charge us unreasonable change orders or do shoddy work. The Kanler project manager was always watching our back. Being fairly old, we did not use any of their technology products, but we certainly didn't mind saving over a 100 thousand dollars while working with Kanler! We are very grateful to Kanler for doing such great work, we wish them the best and highly recommend them to anybody.
