Mike and his team were very responsive, extremely professional and got the job done quickly! I would recommend him to anyone I know looking for these services.

Mike and his crew were at my house at 9:30am for two days and they were very respectful of our property and our neighborhood . Mike was there the whole time working with his crew to be sure everything was done the way we discussed the project . I am very pleased with the way the driveway looks and we have already received complements from our neighbors !! I would highly recommend keystone paving for anyone who wants a job done right for a great price and service ð ð ð ð ð

I put in a request for a quote Saturday morning. Later that afternoon Mike Contacted me and said he would come out sunday morning and get me a quote! He showed up on time and gave me a quote that was well under a previous quote I have received. We went over what we wanted done and Mike suggested a few things. We set up to get started Tuesday and was done by Wednesday before noon. Great work and communication

5.0 Frank B. Darby, PA

Very professional quality work will definitely be using him again

Mike responded quickly on a Holiday! Work was done on time as promised. As important the clean up was if they were never here. Mike is friendly and conscientious wearing a mask during these crazy COVID times. Price was great and his crew was in and out in half a day.

DO NOT HIRE. Michael Lewis, owner of Keystone Paving Sealcoating is a liar and will leave you hanging after taking your money. He has done this to other people as well look on HomeAdvisor, website reviews, and BuildZoom for experiences exactly like ours and records of unpaid debt. If he does not pay the $1,000 arbitration judgment by the specified deadline, we will go after him via the court systems, the office of sheriff, the IRS, and any other avenue needed. In short, we hired him in July 2020 to resurface our asphalt driveway, widen it, install Belgium block edging, and to fix one of our downspouts. It was supposed to be a 2-day job. Note that all companies we got estimates from said this would be 2 consecutive days, whereas it took multiple follow-ups and pushing for this joker to reveal that for him, day 2 would be seven days after day 1. Compared to competing estimates, his $4,800 estimate for a c. 1,200 sq. ft. driveway was unusually low for a bid that included Belgium block edging, so that should have flagged us of his intent. He structured the contract as $800 deposit payable on signing, $2,000 payable on day 1, and $2,000 payable on day 2. The constant berating he did when we wanted something or needed some flexibility should have alerted us as to his intentions. On Day 1, Michael sat chain-smoking in his truck while his crew worked, and did not even widen our driveway properly all the way. Neither he nor his crew wore any face masks or gloves, blatantly violating the Pennsylvania state and Delaware county COVID-19 regulations in place in July 2020. After Day 1, Michael did not show up for Day 2 and avoided giving a straight answer when pressed as to when he would come to at least inspect the driveway for settlement so Day 2 could begin. He was a no show for this inspection. He categorically refused to jump on the phone to discuss and was disrespectful to my wife over text too when she tried to contact him after I failed, as my wife is the legal homeowner. After three weeks passed like this with our driveway in a torn-up state and my mother-in-law tripping on the crushed rocks, we filed a dispute with Thumbtack. This dispute did not go anywhere as Michael blatantly ignored the preponderance of evidence we uploaded, deadlines, the process, and any resolution or concrete answer towards completion of the job. So, Michael was fired and we escalated it to arbitration to recover our lost money. Michael continued to blatantly lie during the arbitration hearing, and the arbitrator ruled in our favor and awarded us $1,000 vs. the $2,800 paid to Michael by Day 1 for shoddy, low-skill, incomplete work that would have cost maybe $1,000 if done correctly. Michael has not paid our judgment amount yet and has ignored all messages from both the arbitrator and us.

Response from Company:

As you can see from all of our verified reviews, this nitwit has issues. We received $1800, he got $1000, so, who won? He never complained about covid while we were there. You know why? Because I was the cheapest. Yes, I smoke too much, but, please don't take these moronic babblings as the norm, this was far from a normal situation, the job was being done the proper way, by letting the stone settle, but, I deal with **know it alls** sometimes but this dude took the cake. Way too dramatic.

5.0 Beth I. Chadds Ford, PA

Due to weather and work restrictions it took longer than anticipated for the job to be completed, however, the brick walkway exceeded our expectations and we are very pleased we hired Mike and his crew.

5.0 Adam C. West Chester, PA

Very competitive price. Other contractors had shrugged off some special requests we made and wanted to cut corners. Mike Lewis listened thoroughly and paid attention to every detail. He offered good advice on some some additions that added value to the project at a low cost. In fact, as customers, we went against one of his recommendations and are regretting it. Mike knows his stuff. He even moved up the project on his schedule when we had a shift in our timeline. The driveway looks perfect. These guys are clean and meticulous -- real artists. They work hard, carefully, and move quickly

5.0 Jason M. West Chester, PA

Keystone got back to me quickly with an estimate and we were able to schedule the install for my driveway right away. They completed a large driveway paving in just a few hours and it looks great. They were flexible with meeting me for contract signature and payment and it was all safe with the current Covid situation. I d recommend them for driveway paving.

5.0 Mike S. West Grove, PA

Mike was great to work with. I had my stone driveway paved and had gotten several quotes. Mike came out and gave us a great price. He was prompt with answering all my questions and concerns throughout the hiring process. On the day of the job they showed up on time and the entire crew was professional and hard working. The driveway looks great and we are extremely happy with the job.
