Reviews
Write a ReviewHe came out, very friendly. We made plans, he said he was going to create an estimate.. "I can do it by GPS," he said. We waited a week before contacting him for an update... No answer, no email, no text, no phone, nothing but a HUGE waste of time !
They keep you updated on how the project is going. Gave good suggestions - and ultimately saved us money and future headaches !
Super nice!
They did an outstanding job on my house, everybody was transparent, and they did a job for a reasonable price.
Couldn't be happier with my fence. Jesse, Brennan and Johnny were rock starts. Great communication. Great Results. Great people.
Jesse started out very professional and seemed to know what he was doing for a bathroom repair after a broken water heater caused water damage to wall, floor and cabinet. Jesse was on the job at times, but apparently delegated the work to someone else. The repairs were completed and it was a mess. The major problem was that there was no subfloor replacement and the whole job needed to be redone. All aspects of the job were substandard. Jesse was paid in full and agreed to fix his mistakes, but then never did. I am out $2,000. Do not trust him! He is a fraud with all of his veteran talk. His work ethic is terrible. I have lots of pics!
The crew worked tirelessly until completed
What started out as a great working relationship went south 75% of the way into our landscaping job. It felt like the owner was overwhelmed and rarely around towards the end. Then when a permit issue came up he bailed on the last phase of the project and made up excuses for why he couldn't continue working with us. I was left with a muddy mess, grading was incomplete, no fence installed, and trees unplanted. I had to beg another subcontractor to help me over a weekend to complete our job. We still have a ton of large rocks throughout our yard and there are some residual drainage issues. I wish it hadn't ended sour... I really liked Jesse and his wife who also runs things. Crew needs supervision for sure.
Amy, I apologize for the unfortunate experience you had with us! It truly was not our intention. We appreciate your feedback and take it as an opportunity to be better. I would also like to take the time to comment on your points. Permit issue and grading incompletion-In our contract there is a statement stating we leave permits etc. to the homeowner. We apologize for the misunderstanding or possible mis-correlation between that issue and the issue of us not being able to facilitate a separate part of your project that was in need of completion. It is our mission as an establishing company to learn from our short comings.
We did a complete remodel on our house inside and out, and have used various contractors. Veteran Landscape & Construction was the only company we worked with who finished on budget and on time. They are also friendly and polite: my 3 year old keeps asking when Jesse is coming back! We recommend this company without reservation!
