Overall service was very good, although a second call and return to work was required. The initial vent installation did not work properly and had to be redone. The end result is fine.

quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly too while working around my important teleconference and respecting that I was on an important call, the tech, Rich, worked quietly and efficiently.

Their resident expert--Jim Glowniak--correctly computed the heat load of my home and determined that my 4-ton A/C was over-sized and that it would require only a 3-ton heat pump to adequately heat and cool my home. So far, he has proved to be correct. With temperatures soaring into the low 90s the past few days (normal for midsummer here), the 3-ton unit had no trouble keeping up with the demand for cooling. Also, the American Standard equipment is so quiet that the only way I know it's running is when I feel cool air coming from the registers. The air handler is so quiet that even when I stand right next to it (in my garage), I can barely hear it running. American Standard has had the lowest frequency of repair record in Consumer Reports for the past 4 years, for both A/C and heat pumps. I'm a well-satisfied customer. My thanks to Jim and kudos to LPAC!

First two times scheduled, they cancelled. Also the person that gave us the estimate left us with the air not working. Had to wait a while for someone to come start it up. They used up a lot of our time waiting for them.

Simple straight forward repair fortunately looked at home page and found coupons for free first service call if you used them plus $100 off a #2100+ estimate Came on time did the work and left but did check with another contractor servicing the same thing in the condo development costs of Freon and recovery less plus no delivery charge etc OR $300 less than this contractor even with the coupons which they never mentioned to me . Am out of state and assumed would have been competitive
Response by LPAC Services: We are pleased that the customer was happy with our service and the quality of our work. We do stand behind all of our work and are fully insured, licensed and follow all regulations. We did run an "emergency" call in the evening for this customer as requested. Our technician fully assessed the issue and provided the customer with a detailed quote to complete the repair for approval. The customer reviewed and approved the repair cost prior to us proceeding-- which is our policy. The customer wanted the repair completed on an asap basis which was done the following day after the parts were obtained. As an accommodation we waited to receive a check via mail which was received approximately a week later and was reduced for "coupons" which we did not question. We are somewhat surprised the customer (or some other contractor) believes our pricing was high as we use a flat rate pricing book which is very competitive for our area and have seldom, if ever, had customers say our prices were not fair and competitive. We do provide repair discounts to customers who have maintenance policies with us.
