I just hired them. I can not honestly evaluate their service yet. I did like meeting Robert, talking with him and getting a complete and through estimate with what each lawn application will be chemically composed of.

Larsen's took extra care of an area of my lawn that collects water. Also provided guidance on how they could work around areas where new grass is germinating or struggling to grow.

Review by Tom M. in Riverdale, NJ
Project: Mow Grass and Maintain Landscaping
Robert was unable to complete the tasks as contracted for. Since his company was new, we initially gave him the benefit of the doubt. At first he was contracted to mulch the clippings , but often forgot the attachment. This year he was to bag the clippings but was unable to do it most of the time. Had to fire him, when he destroyed my solar walk lights , hid them in the garage and did not admit the destruction until he was let go. Since he did not bag the grass I had to pay to have the lawn raked and the flower beds cleaned out. He has yet to agree to pay for the damage caused by his company.
Response by Larsen's Lawn Care: WOW!!! The exaggeration is mind-boggling. The ?destruction? of a $2 dollar solar light. The damage to his property with grass clipping. My company was new and he tried to take advantage of that fact. This all started when Tom was told we had to rise the price to bag and dispose of the grass clipping. We work two more week without rising the price until Tom found a new company to mow his lawn. Tom was trying to get out of an outstanding balance. Tom was outside when the solar light was hit. He said not to worry about the light. After I stop working for him, He sent me a threatening letter, saying if I don?t pay for the solar lights he wasnt going to pay the outstanding invoice.

bad fit for me. sent one kid who worked 1-2hrs a day small project took way yo long
Response by Larsen's Lawn Care: My employee screwed me over. I booked this job for my employee so he would have some work to do while I was away at the Green Industry Expo. When I got back I worked to finish cleaning up the brush and weeds that we were hired for. I went above and beyond what we were hired for. I apologized to the customer for the inconvenience and offered to come back on my own time in a month or two and clean up any brush or weeds that grow back. The funny thing is the customer tipped my worker $50 dollars and complimented me that I was a harder worker then my employee. The customer had a family member look for a contractor because she doesn't use a computer. The customer was not aware of the bad review when I approched them about it.
