Lets Make it Happen

Fabian comes across as a polite honest individual do not be fooled!!! I hired him to do some siding replacement and repair. He looked like he knew what he was doing while I watched him. He was to replace a bathroom window as well. I gave him $750 up front for the window and supplies. He could not find a source of for flashing he wanted to use SILVER TAPE. I said NO and found some myself and paid for it, $90. I bought the calking as well $60. I was sick when I looked closer at his work after he finished. This guy has no idea what code is, he put my siding and trim boards on with 1 1/4 drywall screws!! and he missed the studs as well screwing into the Celotex. He had 2 sections where the screws were 4 feet apart and 5 feet in another. The flashing I bought had a protective plastic film on it, he didn't bother to remove it and calked over it. His calking was terrible. The guy poor mouthed me for more money before the job was done. And like a fool I helped him out. He never put in a full day's work, showing up late morning and leaving midafternoon. He never did get my window and promised to reimburse me. He has now quit taking my calls $250 I will never see. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!! He has no business working on peoples homes. His company should be called THE HOUSE BUTCHER. Home advisor you should be ashamed referring this bum to people. I will NEVER use Angies List or Home Advisor again!!
