I only gave Lifetime Chimney Sweeps one star to be able to write a review. DO NOT HIRE PETER. I donâ  t know where to begin with this review. From having to reschedule our initial consultation 3 times because he didnâ  t show (no text or call to let us know). When he did arrive for the consultation, it was 2 hours late. He had high pressure, fly by night sales tactics like â  Iâ  m only going to be in this neighborhood today. I donâ  t know when Iâ  ll be back in the area.â  He promised everything under the sun from cleaning our chimney, sending pictures and videos, a lifetime guarantee and etc. Unfortunately, I cannot upload pictures to this platform. I was able to upload pictures to Yelp, though. He pushed back the start date twice, took one extra day to complete the project and arrived late each day. Further, requested additional payments in cash to â  pay his guysâ  each day. He said he would send over the lifetime guarantee contract (never did). He also never sent the pictures and videos. My husband and I reached out multiple times until he became unresponsive. We were suspicious and decided to have other chimney contractors come to take a look at the job. See Yelp review for the picture of what I requested from his reviews and the pictures we received upon inspection. We now have to hire a separate company to completely redo his work. We also filed a complaint with the better business bureau. We filed for a partial refund with Thumbtack. They were able to get ahold of him and he denied ever promising a lifetime guarantee (the company name is literally Lifetime Chimney Sweeps) and claimed he completed the project as agreed. The after pictures speak for themselves. Three different contractors were shocked and all said that they found moisture coming into our attic roof â ¦

I highly recommend Lifetime Chimney Sweeps. Peter was very accommodating to my schedule, he was easy to communicate with and made sure the job was completed on time. He was very knowledgeable and showed me photos of what he inspected to ensure I understood what was happening with my chimney before quoting on the job. They repointed much of the brick work and made a new crown because mine was cracking apart. Peter was meticulous about making sure everything was done right. The chimney looks brand new after being painted and sealed. He also did a thorough job cleaning both the fireplace and oil burner flews and he was careful to ensure everything was left in good clean condition.

Completely satisfied with the work done and the availability short notice. The business owner communicated thoroughly with me throughout the whole process. He went above and beyond to provide satisfaction by taking care of things outside the scope of work at no cost. Overall was very pleased with his professionalism and attention to detail. Would highly recommend him. I will be using services again.
