Mark came to verify our carpets/pads were dry after we'd been drying them after a flood in our basement. We decided peace of mind for the price he'd quoted was worth it. He came, checked our carpets and our walls - then further recommended we pull our baseboards and dry our drywall a bit more aggressively than we'd been. His words were "I can pull your wet drywall and replace it...but in the interest of helping you save money, if it were my home, I'd just pull the drywall and concentrate your drying there since your carpets are dry now". NEVER expected that honest recommendation and as such, would definitely use his services again. I think due to the nature of this job being a bit different than what he normally does, we discussed price over the phone before he'd come to check the dryness, and after the work was performed, he asked for more than was originally discussed - I think it was just because he'd forgotten what we'd discussed over the phone. I'd recommend making sure you're both comfortable with pricing and write it down - ultimately I mentioned the original quote and he honored it. In the end, very happy for the peace of mind and would be happy to work with Mark again!

Mary is extremely professional, courteous and prompt. Knowing that, if any issues were found, he could provide remediation services was a real peace of mind.

Mark came by and did a mold inspection in my home. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. He also had a lot of helpful knowledge regarding my upcoming renovation, which was the reason I was getting the house inspected. I got good info, good results and no scare tactics. Very honest, very much worth the money.

In the end, did a nice job, including coming back to level the kitchen area for flooring installation. However, I feel that the price was slightly high for the initial work; that said, when called back to do additional work, at least we were not charged for that. So -- great guys and helped me out in a pinch (short time frame of request) but I think the price quoted (and paid) was a bit on the high side.

Mark and his crew did a wonderful job working with us given the tricky situation and nature of the issues. Mark was open and honest in his assessment, estimate and great at working within our schedule. I would highly recommend Local Building and remodeling for any water remediation and will look to give them more business when we have remodeling projects as well.

These two gentlemen were great. Very friendly, very reasonable and they did a great job. Had replaced floor and all of the trim had been removed and not numbered. They found where every piece went and found more trim that we stained and matched. I definitely recommend them.
