I hired Makead to install wall heaters and a large variety of smaller tasks. They were easy to reach and had an appointment available quickly. Final price matched the estimate and was extremely reasonable! Workers were friendly and worked quickly. They encountered a few unexpected issues but were knowledgable and dealt with them effectively. They were thorough and finished in a timely manner. I would definitely hire them again!!!

They did not show-up to an appointment I scheduled on HomeAdvisor, even though I called to confirm the day before and left a message that said I was expecting them unless they called to tell me otherwise. They did call about 4 hours later. I ended up rescheduling with them anyway because I wanted the job done soon and they offered to come the next Saturday. Guy who showed up was nice and did a great job. I thought the cost was too high though, for 30-40 minutes of work I was charged over $200 because of a 'call center service fee,' that was not indicated on HomeAdvisor. I was expecting to pay $125 plus taxes.

Richard was very easy to work with. Fixed several little issues with incorrect wiring and also replaced a kitchen light fixture. Great customer service.

Makead Power left my project having caused irreparable damage, with no electrical work done and a day of work quote 3 times higher than the original bid. They claimed their "cost of materials" was higher than the quoted bid, which they were not. I just checked. Their cost were far less. I do feel they were honest with me . In fact they were more concerned about their own comfort level than mine. Stay away from these guys. Oh, and by the way, I just found another contractor whose willing to complete my project for 1/3 of Makead's day of work quote. Now I have go try and repair the damage they caused.
Response by Makead Power & Controls: We would like our prospective customers know that we apologized for the misunderstanding for delivering our customer an under-quoted project. Due to a miscommunication with one of our team members, this was indeed our fault. However ... this project was out of our customers budget range; even with a competitive quotation readjustment ... and additional discounts offered. We'd like nothing more than forgiveness from this customer. We would like to remind our customers that permits are required on most projects; especially those of this nature (Jacuzzi Installations) ... and we refuse to cut corners on electrical code requirements. IT'S THE LAW !!!! and what's more, it's for the safety of you and your family. Thanks. M.P.A.C.

They replied immediately to my call, & came within an hour of our discussion. They worked quickly & thoroughly to resolve & repair mysterious partial power outage. Were respectful of my home .
