We had a wonderful experience with Monova Homes and the remodel of our small en-suite. Communication was outstanding. Jay the owner was always available to answer our questions by phone, text, or email. The entire process was fast and efficient. Within three days, he evaluated our requirements and provided a quote. Jay also quickly scheduled our bathroom remodel and even moved the planned work date forward to accommodate a travel commitment we had. Jayâ s work crew was on time, polite, and professional. In addition, and this is important, the work crew was experienced, and knew what they were doing. Remodeling a 1950â s small bathroom can be a challenge but the work crew handled it with great skill and excellent craftsmanship. The remodel was completed on schedule and we now have a beautiful marble tile, European style en-suite.

Monova did a great job. The Team was timely, fast, and the work was done with great care. They ensured we were updated and our considerations were taken into account. We will be working with Monova on future projects and would recommend them to anyone doing home improvement projects.

It was a great experience. Our bathrooms were the original bathrooms from when our house was built. Our master bathroom required some significant plumbing work. If you're comfortable picking out your fixtures and tiles, Monova is a great value. We received quotes from 4 other contractors and Monova was the best mix of value, quality, and flexibility. They were great to work with. If we ever decide to do our kitchen, we would use Monova. Also, Javier tiled all three bathrooms and was amazing.

After signing a contract to have Monova remodel two small bathrooms starting in Feb 2020, they were able to actually start in November. Then Jay promised that the hall bath would be done by Thanksgiving and it was. Everything went smoothly, Jay is proactive with communication and the guys on-site were super nice. Love how everything turned out!

I recently remodeled my master bath after waiting a long time to do so. The delay in beginning my project was caused by the repiping of my condo building that was postponed several times. Finally, I was able to start. Jay Wee of Monova came by to look at the project, which going to be a total gut job: I was ripping out a decrepit â telephone boothâ shower, removing the separate tub, and removing the double vanity. I planned to install a much larger shower enclosure and a new single vanity, as well as replace the tile floor. Jay immediately suggested a better location for the new shower and had several other ideas for my project. Following our consultation, he promptly provided what I found to be a very reasonable proposal for the labor. We soon completed negotiations and settled on a contract. Once work commenced, it went quickly. Demolition of the bathroom took only a few hours, thanks to Ade (who seems to be able to do ANYTHING well) and his young helper. Almost all the work for my job was handled by Ade, save the tile work, which was completed by the amazing Alfredo, whose work was impeccable. A snag at the end was caused by the vanity, which was back-ordered and then eventually arrived with manufacturing flaws. The supplier recommended another vanity be sent without doors and drawers and the doors and drawers from the damaged one be installed in the replacement. Ade and Jay took care of doing that and ensuring all was looking good. The final result was excellent, and everyone who sees the bathroom is absolutely wowed. The new shower is where the tub used to be, and the area where the shower was is now a storage area that I have yet to furnish, but which provides lots of additional storage space. Throughout the project, Jay stayed in constant touch via text. He and the team were always on time, and I was always kept aware of progress and schedule. Jay is always cheerful and responsive to questions and requests. Ade handled all work and any additional requests quickly and expertly. Jay took care of the City permits and inspection. I would definitely work with Jay and crew on any future project, based on my experience with my bathroom remodel. Thanks to Monova, I have a first-class master bath that is a pleasure to look at and use.

My experience with Monova Homes was fantastic. I had an ongoing full home renovation/remodel project, which consisted of work on basement, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, dining+living rooms, and 2 master bedroom suites, all work done pretty much from the ground up (ie- electrical, plumbing, framing, drywall, paint, and finishing work all completed by Monova Homes). To put it into further context, I had decided to do an addition to my home as well as re-structure the existing interior layout and was left hanging out to dry by my previous contractor, whom had left my house in shambles (literally had to move out of my house because it was not in a livable condition). Now, most contractors wouldnâ t even THINK about touching a project like this, much less come in at a reasonable price, but Monova Homes was ready and willing to work with me and I couldnâ t have been happier with the outcome. I mainly had two individuals working on my project. Jay whom was the estimator and project manager, and Ademar whom was the project foreman. They were both absolutely great to work with. From day one, Jay took great care in being attentive to make sure that all the details of the project were taken care of and carried to a â T.â He was also in constant communication with me throughout the entirety of the project. I never felt like I was the one that had to reach out to him first about anything or get on his case about anything, nor did I ever feel that I had to sit and wait for him to respond to any questions I had. In fact, I would usually get an update every day or so from him to let me know where we were in the project, as well as to ask me any questions or let me know of any concerns. I couldnâ t have asked for anything more in a project manager. Ademar was also outstanding. He had great workmanship and attention to detail. All his work was done diligently and with precision, from rough-in elements to perfectly seamless drywall, all the way through to the finishing touches and making sure that all doors/cabinets/hardware/etc. were installed properly, and perfectly level and aligned. He also had a very strong work ethic. Day in and day out, Ademar was there from morning to evening getting the work done on my project. He even came on the weekends a few times just to make sure that all the work was completed in a timely manner. Bottom line, Monova Homes kept me completely relieved, knowing that the horrible state that my house had been left in by the previous contractor would be 100% corrected, and that I would end up with a beautiful home. I have nothing but praise to give to Monova Homes, especially for having such diligent and attentive workers. I strongly recommend them for any home remodel project, and will gladly call on them again whenever I have another project.

I moved into my house about a year ago. The home had only one bathroom and a very closed-in kitchen. I had a small unfinished room off the master bedroom that I wanted to be converted to a bathroom. I contacted Mir from Monova to provide a quote for building a bathroom and updating my kitchen, and I am so glad I did. Mir was the ultimate professional. He showed up on time and provided a very reasonable quote. Jose, the job supervisor, was fantastic. He and his crew worked so hard (and fast!). The tile work is especially outstanding. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Monova. They are truly the best contractors I have ever had and I have remodeled three homes! I have recommended Monova to several of my friends because, as anyone who lives in Northern Virginia knows, it is very difficult to find a contractor at a reasonable price and one that you can count on to do a fantastic job!

Monova Homes did a complete restoration of the interior of my three bedroom condo that had been rented for twenty years. Monova Homes made suggestions concerning what needed to done and the restoration turned out to be more attractive than when the unit was new. In fact the condo was so good looking I decided to stop renting and keep it as a second home.
