Business Overview

How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because standards and science applications were missing from this industry. In 2004, Florida had no state regulations regarding mold, In fact, Florida Statues 468 MOLD did not go into effect until 2010. In 2004, Michael Danforth, President of MCSIAC, enrolled in multiple MOLD schools, only to discover that they did not teach the science of Mold (microscopic organisms and their effect on humans). The only curriculum taught were various sampling techniques. Same is true today. After engaging Aerotech P & K laboratories school (2004), a certificate of Mold Inspector was earned through Aerotech P & K laboratories, by IESO (Indoor Environmental Standards Organization) now known as IAQA (Indoor Air Quality Association). Following Florida acceptance of Florida Mold Regulation FS 468, Florida licenses were achieved..

We started in this industry in 2004.

We describe our business as Well established

Even if I do not see mold, can my home be contaminated?

Yes - Mold begins at a microscopic level. You cannot see it with your eyes.
