DO NOT HIRE: I hired this contractor to remodel my bathroom. He represented himself to be a finish carpenter. He testified in court that he was only a rough carpenter so I should not have expected precise, satisfactory work. Based on his performance I would doubt his testimony of being a rough carpenter. He was to install a partial sub floor which he stalled approx; of floor and it was uneven with approx; drop in;. H was supposed to work with the sub contractors and failed to give directions resulting in two of the three power boxes being installed in the wrong places. The cabinets were not installed according to the written instructions, diagrams and personnel instructions from the cabinet supplier. The cabinets were improperly positioned on the vanity, even after being moved once, the medicine cabinet was in stalled upside down, the cabinets were not level nor squared. The filler/spacer board was not used nor was the hardware provided for the cabinets used. Instead of eight screws provided used for mounting instead, Moss used 19 screws some counter sunk and others 1/4&; from the cabinet surface, some at angles and some put in side of cabinets to suck them together. Moss also left 8 holes when he removed screws because they missed the studs. holes were cut in the back of the vanity to allow; water lines to come in. The crown molding was split and destroyed during installation do to bad angle cuts and trying to force molding to fit. Moss did not install the tow board, did not finish the trim, leaving nail holes unfilled and painting undone. Moss took approx 4 months from signing contract to do a 2 or 3 week job. He kept coming up with stories of family woes and asking for advances in end of contract pay. He lost the shower grate and attempted to charge me a second time for it. Moss successfully destroyed approx $1900 worth of cabinets and then walked off the job when he realized he could not straighten out the mess he had made.

They came in, looked at the work, then gave me a breakdown of what the cost would be. They stuck to it and if there were any delays they would notify me of what what the cause was and I was kept informed the entire time. Additionally, I needed a new sink, but it had to be ordered. The sink came yesterday and then they were here today and installed it. They're so quick to answer me!

He did a new wall for my bedroom and bath. He did excellent work, top quality. He's a small business, so the timeline may be extended. I was looking for quality and that's what I got.
