The gentleman that completed our work did a good job. He was on-time, polite and kept his workspace clean. However, I wasn t aware that I would be charged for his time to go to Home Depot...twice. I was charged for the 1.5 hours he was gone. Which was a pretty significant amount of money when paying an hourly rate. May want to clarify before hiring the company if they will charge you if they have to leave and go to a store.

These are laid back yet professional people that take their work seriously. They do not/will not pressure you into buying a service that is not needed, most trustworthy plumbing service i have ever done business with. Will recommend to anyone family friends and strangers with plumbing issues.

This was a 11pm call to several plumbing companies for backed up drain in my house. Lots of phones answered but only Newman's responded with "we can send some right out". He arrived around 1am, took 30 minutes to clear the drain and was done. The tech was new to this company, inexperienced but was very courteous and got the job done. Understanding business, I would send a rookie out at 1am for this type of job. I felt the price was over the top, but after 5 companies wanted to set appointments for later in the day, I did not have much of a choice. Overall, we are pleased and would recommend to others.

The first interaction was great. They gave some free advice over the phone and after trying that advice out, I still needed some help. The next day though, I didn't get a call from them until 3 hours after the appointment. I tried calling but received no answer. They finally called me back and made it to the house. Once there, they were professional and got the job done. It was a mixed bag of being great and being terrible. Just the lack of giving notification made it a bad experience, everything else was great.

My first interaction with Newman's Plumbing was with Melissa, who called almost immediately after my inquiry was made on HomeAdvisor. She was friendly and professional. This service was for my elderly Mother and I immediately felt comfortable arranging for John Newman to go to my Mother's home. Melissa was very considerate in calling my Mother and scheduling a time for John to arrive and even followed up with me. John arrived promptly and efficiently unclogged my Mother's kitchen sink, as well as a slow draining bathroom sink that I had not even discussed with Melissa. For this service, Newman's Plumbing charged by the hour and could have taken a long time to complete the repair, however, they did not do so. Instead they did the job at at a cost less than other quotes I had received. I highly recommend Newman's Plumbing.
