We hired Nice Yard to put in a concrete front walkway and a front yard side patio area. They did excellent work! We have loved our front patio area, and enjoy sitting out there on warm summer evenings - visiting with neighbors as they stroll by. The only thing I was at 4.5 star rating was the hour the work crew started - 5:30 AM! I was concerned our neighbors would complain about the very early start time and the noise from the machinary - but no complaints came. Overall VERY HAPPY with our concrete work from Nice Yard - definitely recommend!!

I loved their work, speed and the beauty of the finished project. This was for brick stairs on a slope. They only respond to calls when it's a project they are interested in. (Only reason customer service isn't a 5). I believe they don't want to do any weeding.

When I called, I was told an estimator would be out within a certain time. He didn't show, didn't call, and I had to call their office. When he did call and appoint, he showed up way after the window they gave me. The job consisted of removing 7 railroad ties. It took two guys about a half-hour to do it, but they charged me $650.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! The work they did was ok for the price but there are some lines that aren't straight and a few spots that died right away. They did not level the ground before installing the sod and there were a couple of spots that got torn up when I mowed the first time. The contract included 1 year warranty however when I tried to call them to get the dead spots and uneven spots replaced, they basically stopped taking my calls. I have tried for months now to get them to come replace and or fix the spots. All I would get is "I'll contact Jose and call you tomorrow, I promise." Their promises mean nothing as it has been two months and they refuse to pick up my phone calls and have yet to "call me tomorrow." Their customer service is terrible. I have actually contacted a lawyer and am in the process of of filing a breach of contract suit against them. I strongly encourage you all to keep searching for a different yard company.

communication: LOUSY....they broke water line, took SEVERAL DAYS to get back and fix it. (this was during VERY HOT weather, couldn't water with system. didn't keep appointments.....person who did work (finally showing up) did an excellent job, good worker....problem I believe lies in administration/supervision. WILL NOT HIRE THEM AGAIN.

I have a breach in my fence that they installed. I started contacting them in may and they didn't give me any contact back. It took two months to get into contact with them and once I told him i had the money he required to do the work, he showed up and worked diligently but once there was a breach in the fence they installed they wouldn't contact me back at all or take any of my phone calls. They didn't leave any of the boards I paid for and when they told me they would bring some up and help fix the breach it took them 2 months to bring up 10 boards. They gave me a 1 year warranty they aren't honoring and they are continually ignoring my calls. They took my money and didn't give me the service they said they would and I feel really taken advantage of.
