They were very professional. The sales staff spent a lot of time at my house looking at the AC and explaining what needed to be done. I felt very comfortable with them. The office manager, Melissa was wonderful and quick to respond. I would highly recommend this company.

They were professional, priced competitively, completed the job on time and followed up twice in less than a week to make sure the unit was working to our satisfaction. I have already recommended them a friend and they did an excellent job for them too.
Response by North Texas Air, LLC: Steve, Thank you for referring your friend! We are privileged to be able to provide the type of service which warrants a personal referral.

I rarely write reviews but was so pleased with their service that I need to compliment their professionalism and quality of work. They changed my coil and condenser and were the most thorough! I literally went through seven companies (two from home advisor). This company was absolutely the best and although not the cheapest they were within a reasonable range of less thorough and likely less capable companies. No surprises at the end of the job. They even made a special cable because my new unit was larger and further from the house exterior.
Response by North Texas Air, LLC: Hello Mark! We are very glad our team went the extra mile for you. Thank you for writing such a lovely review.

I would recommend North Texas Air to anyone. They are very professional and friendly. They did not try to sell me anymore than what was needed and did an excellent job. They answered all my questions during the installment of the A/C and Heating unit. Russell, Alberto and Hugo are very dedicated to their clients and their work. They know what customer service is all about. It was awesome to see this in a company and a pleasure doing business with them.

The compressor and fan on my AC unit would not cycle on when the thermostat called for the unit to kick on, so I called North Texas Air to check it out. The tech noticed that the high pressure safety switch had tripped and shut the unit down so he reset it and the unit started running. 5 min later the unit shut off again while the furnace was being looked at. The switch tripped again leading the tech to suspect the switch was bad. Without actually checking for continuity across the switch he decided to bypass the switch and called it fixed. After filling out my invoice for the "labor" to cut the wire and getting my payment we noticed the fan quit turning, the compressor kept running though, no shutoff switch (that unit gets quite hot without a fan to remove heat). He determined that the fan motor had just suddenly died and the unit would now need a new fan motor and with that a new labor charge! He installed the new motor, turned the unit back on and headed out to the next call. About 3 hours later I noticed warm air blowing out of the vents in my house, looked at the unit again, the compressor was humming away still, but no fan. The fan motor got hot enough that some of the stickers burned off the the housing and the box made a sizzle sound as the rain drops hit it. Fortunately, they had a "go to" guy that could come back to the house. He noticed that the fan motor was hooked up to the contacter wrong so it would not turn fast enough and some of the other wiring was backwards causing the fan to turn the wrong way (pushed the hot air back down instead of out of the box). He got the motor installed correctly and actually tested the shut-off switch, it was just fine and he re-connected that. They only offered to reimbursed some of the original labor cost for disconnecting the safety switch and reassured me that the components they worked on were warrantied, I suppose if the haphazard work causes something major like the compressor to go out I'm on the hook for that. If you want hasty work with little to no investigation or troubleshooting and maybe a service plan, this is the place for you.
