Write a ReviewI was referred to Walter by a trusted friend. I was impressed with his work to say the least. He explained everything in layman's terms so I could understand. He was very thorough and I would not hesitate to recommend him. He's one of those rare people that you meet him for the first time and you feel like you've known him for forever.
If you want a proper inspection of your home Walter is the way to go!! He took his time and was extremely thorough! This wasnâ  t my first home or my first inspection, Iâ  ve been through this process before snd never have I experienced quality like Walters before! His report was vast and well thought out leaving no stone unturned. He called me after to make sure all my questions were answered and if I had any more thoughts to discuss. I would hire him again and again, you should too!!
Highly recommend Walter for Westchester county home inspections. Very knowledgable and is able to patiently answer any questions that you might have. I used him very recently and fully satisfied with the work.
Walt is the man! I would recommend him to any home buyer. He inspected two different properties for us and both times he was extremely thorough and identified many issues, no matter how small. His expertise in all home-related matters is unmatched, and not only that, he took the time to walk us through the issues he identified, explaining why it's a concern or hazard, and how it can be addressed. Thanks for everything, Walt!
Walter is hands down the most thorough home inspector I have had experience with and this is my 4th home-- I only wish I had found him before purchasing my previous homes bc his knowledge and expertise in "how a home functions and should function" is priceless and a must for all new homeowners. Hire him and sleep well about your new home!!!!
Walter Krisa of North View Home Inspections was absolutely fantastic. From the first time we spoke he was supportive and helpful. My husband and I are in the process of purchasing our first house a 120 year old home, and he has been there to answer every one of our questions, responding via phone and text at the drop of a hat. Walter has gone above and beyond, researching various aspects of our prospective home and he has dedicated considerable time to helping us. In the inspection itself Walter left nothing unturned - crawling into the smallest of spaces in order to thoroughly evaluate the property. We will recommend North view Home Inspections to all of our family and friends moving forward.
I would highly recommend Northview and Walter Krisa. We recently used Walter for a home inspection of a house weâ re hoping to purchase. Walter was super flexible in accommodating our tight schedule and clearly outlined what to expect during the entire process. He was pleasant to work with and extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He took the time to point out and describe any issues we should be aware of. He delivered the 130+ page inspection report in less than 48 hours. The report was super detailed, outlining both critical and minor issues and will serve as a great maintenance roadmap for both the interior and exterior of the house.
Walter Krisa of Northview Home inspections performed my home inspection recently in New Rochelle, NY and he was outstanding. I went with Walter as he spent 3 1/2 hours going through the house in great detail. He was friendly, knowledgeable and informative and his matter of fact way of speaking was easy to understand. He not only identified problems and issues, some of which were not immediately obvious, but he consistently put them into perspective, documenting anything noteworthy with descriptions and photos. He did not sugar coat anything but, rather, he explained what the ramifications were, the level of importance and what would need to be done and when, in the process educating me about the house. For example, even though the house seemed to be in good overall shape, the roof looked somewhat old. I found it very helpful when, without prompting, he told me The roof is at the end of its life and, although there is no evidence of any leak at this time, the roof needs to be replaced. Within less than 24 hours after the inspection Walter issued an extremely detailed and comprehensive 125 page report which was logically laid out, easy to read and replete with photos. In addition, as part of his service, he gave me a well written soft cover book entitled. Now that you have had a Home Inspection which provided additional useful information. In addition to the inspection Walter also provided added value during the inspection by, for example, giving helpful hints on how to improve things in the house. The end result of having Walter do the inspection on a home you may be purchasing is that you obtain a great deal of useful information about the house and you leave with a sober, realistic, detailed and comprehensive understanding of any possible issues, probable repair needs (useful in house price negotiations), their likely timeline and upcoming maintenance requirements. All of this information allowed me to make a well informed and confident decision on one of biggest investments one is likely to make, the purchase of a home, and it was also helpful in the price negotiations with the seller. I perceived that Walters goal was to give me the best and most accurate information possible. Through his inspection and the accompanying report I ended up knowing more about the house I was about to purchase than I did even about the home I had grown up in. I recommend Walter Krisa of Northview Home Inspections without reservation. Best money I ever spent!
Walter did the inspection for us on a home we are considering purchasing in Pleasantville. He was recommended to us by a friend who also used his inspection services for a home they purchased a few years ago and were very satisfied. From the outset, Walter was responsive and flexible as we tried to coordinate a time for an inspection that worked for both the sellers, for us and our realtor. During the inspection, Walter was thorough and detailed and he invited me to follow him around while he conducted the inspection. He explained to me the items he was checking and pointed out any items that either need attention or will need maintenance in the future. Walter was not afraid to get his hands dirty either. He crawled on his hands and knees to check inside crawl spaces and in the attic. The day after the inspection, Walter provided a very detailed 130-page report that first provided a summary of the key findings broken out by category (Roofing, Plumbing, HVAC, etc.), followed by a more detailed breakdown of every category with detailed explanations and multiple supporting photos. In closing, we are very happy with his quick responses via texts when coordinating the inspection, and his thorough inspection, which he subsequently provided to us in a report within the next day.
My real estate refer Walter Krisa to do the inspection on a house that we will like to buy, we liked him a lot he was very knowledgeable he explain everything so well and gave us advises, he went trough the all house and found everything that was wrong i will refer him to anybody who needs him,he's great
