We hired O'Connor painting to give our kitchen a new look. From the original estimate to completion was one week. And even after I disliked the color THAT I PICKED, the new color was put on and the project stayed on schedule. I have very happy with O'Connor painting and would recommend them to others!

He comes back when he says he will. Very friendly and lets you know that you are the boss. Great working with him. Will hire him again.

I found O'Connor Painting in Plymouth Ma through Home Advisor. I requested an estimate on painting the exterior of my home in West Plymouth. Mr. Dave O'Connor contacted me immediately and told me that he could give me an estimate the same day. I received the estimate which was very reasonable for the work I was requesting. I read Dave O'Connor's reviews on the Better Business Bureau, on Home Advisor and other places. He has a fantastic review rating which is well deserved. I hired O'Connor painting for the job. They started the job within three days. I was extremely happy with the preparation work to get the home ready for paint. It was discovered that my home needed new clapboards on the front. I had Mr. O'Connor remove and replace all the front clapboards on the front of my home. The final paint job came out wonderful. I am very pleased. Dave O'Connor personally did my work along with another worker named Claudio. They both couldn't be more professional and helpful. During the process of painting my home several areas of light but necessary carpentry repair was discovered. Mr. O'Connor did that unexpected work for no additional charge to the original estimate. Mr. Dave O'Connor and Claudio both went above and beyond making my home look fantastic! Very hard workers. I highly recommend O'Connor Painting and will definitely hire them for any further work needed.

Did a good job with a good crew

This was a very disappointing experience. O'connor Painting was one of 5 bids I received to have 5 rooms painted. They were not the lowest or the highest bid, they were the second highest. I went with them because they were willing to work with my short deadline. Overall the work was less than professional. The first day the owner himself came to start the job painting the master bedroom 2 coats as agreed. He started at 8:30 and at 11:45 he told me he was done with both coats, and he had to leave for another job. After he left I went into the bedroom and it was clear it was not two coats but a few quick swipes with a roller over the first coat were visible over all the walls. The specifications listed on the paint can said there should be a minimum dry time of 4 hours between coats. There were bare spots everywhere. When he returned the next day I brought it to his attention and he agreed to repaint. For the rest of the job all the work had to be carefully watched over. On the last day the crew was suppose to finish the second coat on the family room and kitchen walls and ceiling. When they wrapped up and prepared to leave the crew leader said he needed the final payment. Everything was still wet. I said I would prefer to wait until it dried to be sure all was ok. He insisted, saying his boss told him he had to get the final payment. I asked if he could ask his boss to come by for it later in the day and he said he couldn't because he was at another job. Reluctantly I gave him the payment only to regret it. The next morning it was clear there were sparse areas and bare spots all over both the kitchen and family room walls. Splatters of paint were everywhere on the newly finished floors despite the fact that they had been draped and covered it. The natural woodwork trim was lapped with paint, as well as the ceiling can lights. After many, many telephone calls to Mr. O'Connor with multiple promises from him to come by on the "next rainy day" to make corrections, Mr. O'Connor failed to keep his word. After a year of dealing with his failure to keep his promise and honor the contract, I had to hire another painter to repaint the family room and kitchen. I absolutely do not recommend this contractor. Pictures are available if interested which represent a small sample of the poor workmanship. Sadly, when the movers returned to move the furniture back into the house from the garage they asked if I had a high school kid do the painting!!! I also have paid contract for this company located in Plymouth.
