The onsite reps, Anthony and Charles, were very professional, polite and explained what their process would be. As for the price, it was higher than I thought, but I've never had this situation before, so I have nothing to compare it to. I was not very pleased with the person in the office, Darrell, as he was not engaging or friendly, and when I called for a follow up appointment on a Friday morning, he said he would call me back later that day with options for the following week, he never called me back, 5 days went by and I had to call him again! My 2 star rating for customer service reflects my experience with Darrell, NOT Anthony and Charles!

They screwed up the scheduled day so I called after an hour of waiting and they had to send someone out last minute. The workers were there for about 20 minutes and essentially just looked around without really checking anything in depth. The workers were polite and professional, but the service was way overpriced for services rendered.

Paid for additional traps that were supposed to be dropped off when they came back the next day as stated by employee who performed the service. Their service paperwork also has a note on it reading " * will return w/in 48 hours to put stations *." They never came out. Darryl the owner was rude and defensive when I called to follow up. He said his guys told him they couldn't get ahold of me. When I asked what # they called from so I could provide him cell phone documents proving they never called ( he dropped it ) and said he would follow up with them. Eventually he offered to send me a refund for the traps they were never brought back out, but I never received the check. I called back to follow up and they said all refunds go out FedEx, yet I still never received a refund. He also committed to me that he would speak with his guys and call me back to tell me where his employees claim they found the point of entry so that I could verify these findings. He did not call me back or follow up with me on this information as he promised. I could not file a complaint with the BBB because I cannot locate an address for this Co. and the Phone # they use 216-370-2630 does not come up on the BB website. Their paperwork has Progressive Pest Control on it, but the phone # they use is for Progressive Pest Solutions LLC. I decided to file a dispute with my CC for the charges and currently in the process of sending them documentation to file a claim. Do not hire Darryl McMillian/Progressive Pest Control/Progressive Pest Solutions with the Phone # 216-370-2630. I had a VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE !
Response by (PPS) Progressive Pest Solutions: Martin's story is totally fabricated. We do not use traps here at PPS because in our experience traps don't reduce rodent breeding, rodent reproduction or intimidate rodents from re-entering the home. Especially in Martin's case because his home was severely infested with rodents due to excessive waste, dirt, debris and multiple entry points. After we treated the interior of Martin's home our technicians asked Martin to follow them outside and pointed out the source/entry points near the foundation of his home. We even provided Martin with a estimate to have repair work/exclusion done because it comes with a 9-12 month warranty. Martin only requested to have (4)Rodent Baitstations installed on the outside of his home to discourage rodents from entering his property. Martin said he would not be at location the next day and gave us approval to come out the next day to install the (4)Rodent Baitstations without him being present. We installed Baitstations next day as promised. Approximately one day after we installed the Baitstations Martin called in and requested a refund for the (4)Rodent Baitstations because he feels that they are just a waste of money. We informed Martin that we would not be able to issue him a refund because the stations have already been punctured with 12 inch metal stakes, baited and installed. We advised customer to at least give it some time to see results, but customer became irate and disconnected phone call. Martin came off as being very arrogant/sassy even from the initial phone call when he scheduled service. Just by our first conversation with him when he originally scheduled service we knew he would be a concern. But, here at PPS we do not deny service to anyone who is in need. We are a accredited member of the BBB with very high ratings. All of our technicians are licensed by the Ohio Department of Agriculture and the Ohio Division of Wildlife with at least 20 years of experience or more. All we wanted to do was eliminate Martin's infestation as we have done so for thousands of others in the past.

I was charged $947 for an hour's time that include $160 for 4 boxes ($40) that are large traps and potentially a thing of caulk. I trust that it is mice though it was only noise I heard in one room and there are no signs at all in the rest of the house to confirm this other than apparently two holes in the insulation in the crawl space. I am sure they did a good job, but I would not recommend them nor use them again. I would strongly recommend getting the estimate in writing before they proceed with work.
