I brought in a vintage MCM Danish teak credenza that needed tambour cloth replacement on two doors. The credenza was returned to us even more damaged than it was when we took it. One door was repaired, but the other had a section of tambours that were glued together and a big chunk of wood missing from the front. It appeared he cut the top of the doors to get them out for repair, because there are big jagged cuts there. He also reinstalled the hardware on the wrong side of the doors, which just seems careless. The top of the hutch came back with a big ring and a 1-2 ft wide stain running from the top to the back, which was not there before. He suggested that the stain must have been there before, and we must not have noticed it in the 6 years we have owned the credenza. He offered to fix the damages he caused, but it was a risk I was not willing to take again. He may be skillful with in other areas, but I received shoddy work that leads me to believe that he is out of his depth when repairing MCM furniture.

Did a great job fixing a rosewood chair that broke. Looked like new when he returned it!
