Matthew initially responded promptly and looked at my Fisher and Paykel refrigerator. He is the only one in the area who services that brand. He needed to order parts and given that the company is in New Zealand, it took a few weeks. When the parts came in we made a mutually agreeable appointment and they were installed and have been working well. It is here that this breaks down. The inside lights do not work and I noticed that immediately (he had left). I called. He was working on another job at night and did not answer calls or texts. I said I would cancel the credit card payment. He refunded the money (which was half of the total bill!), but I told him I really just wanted the fridge fixed. No response, no contact. Matthew can still make this good and receive the rest of the money by fixing the light situation and I will modify this review.

He came and he took the deposit, and then he texted that he was sick. He never came back and he never returned the money. He texted yesterday and promised to refund the money. Will update the rating.

Hired them to fix my dryer. Matt showed up to fix. Had to order a part. After repair dryer still doesn't work. Does not return my calls or messages. Called HomeAdvisor to intervene. They got ahold of him. He said he would be here this morning to complete the repair. Never showed. Cannot get ahold of him.

I hired Matthew to come fix my washer. Almost $500 later my washer still isn't working and he hasn't responded to my texts for more than a week. First, he recommended changing the struts for which I paid $280 for labor and parts. That didn't fix it. Then he recommended changing the CPU. Another $180 and I still don't have a functioning washer. This is negligent and incompetent. I'm not sure if he just doesn't know how to fix it or if he's trying to make a quick profit. Either way I'm utterly disappointed and have now hired another person to come fix it. Another note, he said I'd need to replace my sink disposal so I unplugged it thinking that I need to do that. I plugged it back in 4 days later just to check and it started working. I hired him due to all the positive reviews, but I would not recommend him at all. He hasn't actually fixed anything and charged me almost as much as a new washer would have been. Very very bad service.

Matt arrived at the early end of the time slot. He was neatly dressed, courteous and friendly. He diagnosed the problem with my dishwasher and suggested a replacement if I decided not to fix the problem but buy a replacement.

Arrived promptly and was very courteous. Took a look and confirmed my feeling that the washer was done for. Suggested that I purchase a new one as it would cost more to fix than just doing that. Will keep Matt in mind should I ever need appliance work done.
