After the horrible experience I had with Pool Care of Tampa Bay who was recommended by Home Advisor, I contacted a locally known and respected vendor Pinch A Penny to finally get my pool clean. The first visit was delayed because of an unfortunate accident (the guy cleaning the previous pool was so into the project he fell in) but they quickly got everything rescheduled and came out. The technician was very knowledgeable and respectable and when he left, the pool looked awesome. My lesson was learned with the previous company Pool Care of Tampa Bay, one of the most expensive areas of your home is the pool, get someone out you can trust to do the job right. I have a pool service because I don't have the time to fuss with it. They take care of everything and when necessary let you know if there is anything outside of the norm that needs taken care of. The previous company expected me to be responsible for the pool and in many cases gave me instructions on what they needed me to do because they were short staffed. Brooksville/Spring Hill Pinch a Penny is a tried and true brand. The cost for the service was the same as the mom and pop with a truck company I originally went with but the service and end result was terrific. Don't trust your home or piece of mind to one of the MANY unreliable services out there today.

Customer service lacking. I called to express a concern about our pool service. The reaction/response was unexpected. I would not recommend them to others.

James & Jerry (installation crew) were exceptional. Excellent customer service. Kept us informed as to everything they were doing for us and showing us how everything worked together.

My pool pump motor died, argh. They sent a tech the same day I called. He was knowledgeable about my options and pricing, and let me know about some specials that were available. He was able to replace my motor in, at most, 2 hours. His work was clean and thorough and my new motor is as quiet as he claimed it would be. Very happy.

He showed up on time and did excellent work. My only negative comment is the service call charge is higher than the plumber and appliance repairmen I have used in the past.
