Precision Slate & Tile Roofing Company, Ltd., is owned by 2 of the leading experts in slate and tile roof installation. Most of the work we perform is correcting substandard work that was recently done and failed. On slate and tile roofs it is very important to get a truly qualified contractor. Modern roofing rarely mixes with historic roofs and most roofers are modern or current technology roofers and they have little experience with slate and tile. It is easy to get a roof to stop leaking for several months but it takes skill and cunning to secure a roof for decades. We hand soldered our flashing work and never skip any action to correctly repair or install a roof. We bring our senior roofing abilities to all of our roofing projects including hand soldered copper work on asphalt roof projects. Your roof protects everything! They never informed me that the work had been scheduled and did not respond to my inquiries about when I should expect the work to be done. Six weeks after signing an agreement to perform the work they emailed me an invoice. When I said that to the best of my knowledge the work was never done I was given the excuse that the person I was speaking to was out sick that week. My house has a privacy fence on three sides so the only way their crew accessed my roof was to go through my neighbor's yard. The work appears to have been done but the only indication I have that it was actually completed was some broken slate tiles that must have fallen off of my roof while they were working. The work appears to have been of high quality but, again, I have no way of knowing since Precision Slate and Tile apparently does not feel the need to inform their clients when they plan on working at their house.
